Hmmm, game doesn't work on my EU N3DS/A9LH/LUMA5.5. Just black screen, and I can exit it with home.
I created 000400000018CA00.TXT in my locales folder and entered JAP JP in the txt file.
What am I doing wrong?
And yeah, I installed cryptofixed version of the game.
EDIT: OK, I misread the instructions, it's not JAP, it's JPN

Yeah but Hans does not work for me,even if it did work it wouldn't work eith layerdfs
You can take a screenshot with L+R buttons with NTR!
(Launch BootNTR-> on the home menu, X+Y to open the NTR menu -> Set Hotkey -> Screenshot L+R -> Launch Detective Pikachu!)

Hans works without that since I tried it before but I can't use / don't want to use Hans

Apparently Legendary Pictures will make a live action Pokémon movie based on Detective Pikachu, and Universal will be distributing it outside Japan.
There's now a good chance for the game to receive a western release.
