Placing the origin story and the first movie in the WW1 times could maybe kinda sorta possibly work, because the adventure pulps of the time gel nicely with ancient gods and lost islands, so I'll just wait and see.

Nice a new movie in the series. It's strange to be located in WW time.
She said she doesn't have a father, I wonder if it's common to all superman versions, or only to man of steel, that the children are not born naturally?

I'm wondering if the 2017 series "Krypton" will use the same elements. It will follow Superman grand father adventure on his home planet.

I haven't seen BvS yet. I'm often late with movies.
