Project Sonic looks bad, Sonic Mania looks great, finally it's been so long since there was a good Sonic game

Hopefully, any Fan attempt gets shut down as soon as it's finished oh dear SEGA Like Streets Of Rage Remake but It's probably one of many SEGA references

I loved streets of rage. I own it on steam and still play it. Really nice game

It's weird how no one has commented the new spin dash landing ability (can't remember the name). I think it looks like a great addition to the classic gameplay!

Thanks! Has it been in any other game? I haven't played neither Sonic 4 nor Generations (I own it though).

In Sonic 3, how many times did you guys use the spin dash shield thing? I remember using it none

Wait, so the way it works is if you press down while landing you'll get a boost and keep spinning from your jump? Weird how I didn't know that seeing as I grew up with on the Mega Drive (never finished it but will very soon, just have to replace the FeRam on it..).

Edit: I had to check if it really was in Sonic 3 and there's only the normal rolling you would get from running and pressing down like in previous games, no speed boost.

It wasn't a rolling attack, but I remember there being a shield jump attack if you pressed A twice. That attack was actually really useful imo, for speedruns and invincibility frames.
