Kind of the same problem here. I downloaded a SMB romhack (Super Papyrus) injected into a SMB Virtual Console cia that allows you to play through download play with a friend. When I try to enable that mode I get the same error as Sonic Angel Knight. It also happens with Mario Kart 7 in cia version, every time I want to open a room in local multiplayer mode it says that the wireless communication is disabled despite being actually enabled :s (I own a retail cartridge and it works when playing local multiplayer). I tried different cias and none of them worked

I've been following this guide and i'm step 4 trying to downgrade to 2.1.0 https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-4-(2.1.0-Downgrade)

These are the last steps I did

Reboot into SysNAND, then get into the Homebrew Launcher through the entrypoint of your choice
Open OTPHelper, then go to "NAND Backup and Restore", then select the "EmuNAND Backup" option
Backup your RedNAND to emuNAND_formatted.bin
Press Select on the main menu to eject your SD card
Put your SD card in your computer, then copy over emuNAND_formatted.bin andemuNAND_formatted.bin.sha to a safe folder on your computer
Delete any existing updates folder from your SD card root that may be left over from a previous downgrade or update
Copy the updates folder from the 2.1.0 firmware zip to the root of your SD card
Reinsert your SD card into your 3DS, press Start and right at the same time to reboot, then boot your 3DS into RedNAND using any CFW

Suddenly Luma3DS will not boot back to RedNand, it either gives black screen or says loading home menu but never does. I even tried reinstalling Luma3DS but it still will not work anymore. I know that sometimes Luma3DS will cause black screen but it's done it over 20 times in a row. Can someone please help?

Question:

I installed Luma quite some time ago and didn't touch my 3ds for a while.
Now it tells me (inside Luma) that a system update is available. Am I safe to update? I used the Luma Updater too yesterday, but it still tells me an update is available.

If you're talking about a system update then it's safe to update your emuNAND to 11.0 (Granted your using unlinked NAND's or A9LH), Luma cannot give you notifications telling you that there is a new update for it directly on the home menu.

if its saying you in menu of your emunand dont update like that it gonna update your sysnand when youre at emunand go to sys setting and update

I did everything here: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki (including step 5)

So my system starts directly into emunand I guess.
My legit pokemon alpha sapphire has an update available and before I could download that my system told me "update me pls".

So... shadow#1 told me to use the updated .zip from that website.
bacca told me to use the update function directly from my emunand.
and fikatr told me that using the update function in my emunand will update my sysnand instead, I should go to my systemsettings and update from there (the version in the bottom right inside my system settings says " Sys 10.7.0-32E " if you need that info)

So what's the correct way now?

looks like you're using sysnand and a9lh you can safely update your console

Anybody knows why @Aurora Wright has not officially release his fork of arm9loaderhax with no sd support....its safe to install or its better wait to be officially released in his github...
