Hacking Loadiine GX2

I have a lot of games on my sd VC and wiiU games. I have a suggestion. Make a settings to change folder. Let me explain: Like the common usbloader you had the possibility to display between gamecubes and wii. The same option but for wiiu games and VC games. Actually i put all my VC names with Z to structure them but still it's not perfect, with all the themes on internet is there a way?

Quick question.

Can I play Wii U games located on my PC through kernel exploit?
Or is a SD-card required to play Wii U games?

Maybe i missed it, but i have a Problem with Loadiine... Everytime i start a game, it opens the Mii Channel and no Game.
The only Game that is loading is Starfox Zero.
All other Games are not working.

Wii U Firm is 5.5.1
Loadiine 0dffac5

The SD Card Tree is:

X:\wiiu\games\gamename [XXXXXX]\

after the gamename folder there are 3 folders with code, content, meta

is it a known bug that it often boots to the Mii App and not starting the game or have i done something wrong?
It doesnt matter if i change from mii mode to another, it always starts the Mii app and no game.

Only with miimaker you need an account without NNID (probably because Miimaker doesn't have Miiverse or network enabled).
Smash + NNID works.

My Wii U has become 'finnicky' my Mario Kart 8 disc no longer works in my wii u, although it is physically flawless, something has gone awry in that regard. Do I need to be able to launch the original game via disc in order to dump dlc with ddd?
I am hesitant to buy the DLC and then not be able to dump it for use with the loadiine version of mario kart 8 v64 ..

will this work regardless of the disc no longer working? can anyone confirm?

I have a similar question. I assume the title needs to be dumped on the console it's being used on so you need a working title to do it. I want to set one up and copy the SD for my second console but assume I need to re-do the dump on the second console. Can anyone confirm?

There are two things :
if you talk about the game : you can dump it on any console (or even use illegal sharing website; or another console) the dump is not tied to the console. it's from a Disc, which has the same data whatever the console you use it on.
If you talk about the DLC : the DLC data is not tied to the console either, but the game needs to get access to the list of unlocked DLC on the console, even if you have the DLC data for loadiine on your SD card it will not work on a console which doesn't have that DLC installed at the same time. The console unlocks the DLC only if it sees that it's unlocked and available on the console's DLC list, then loadiine can load it from SD (it can't load it from internal that's why you need to have both the DLC on internal and external: internal to unlock it for the game, external to load the data).

You need to be able to launch the game to get the folder's access rights.
You don't need to play the game entirely or dump it entirely to get or install the DLC.

If the game boots, but has issue reading later in the game, that's fine.
If it doesn't boot anymore, you won't be able to install the bought DLCs, nor dump them for loadiine.

Thanks Cyan, good to be back. I've just changed jobs and have more time for important things in life - like my console

Excellent info, thanks. So I can mirror my SD card from one console and use it in the other then - no need to re-dump the title. That's good news - also good news for anyone with damaged disks that they can't dump - if they can borrow another.

What's the biggest SD card these days and what brand are others are using? Are there any recommended ones? I'm picturing I might need a couple at least...

bigger is SDXC 256GB (or 512GB?), but that's very expansive. The best size/price ratio is 128GB.
Though, only if you really need a big one, as multiple 64GB is sometime better or less expansive?
it's not like there are that much game you want to play, unless you want to stat a collection with all existing games...

By the timr you fill that sucker, WiiU Games will have made a scene-comeback and thr console will rise to be the most succesfull nintendoconsole of all time.
You do the math WHEN this is xD

I would guess one of these two might work:

1) Backup your SD card, use a good SD formatter on your PC to reformat the card, restore your backup to the SD card. I use this one: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
2) Get a faster SD card - what are you currently using?

this may be the wrong place to ask this but is anyone else using or has anyone else ever heard of this, loadiine ZXR?

i started with loadiine but then i found this .rar file on my computer but i forget where i DL it from or why
it had the folder structure and everyhting all set up so i switched to using it after i tried loadiine for the 1st time
not sure what the difference is if any , seems to be working ok so far

@MegaSuperab2 also has this illusive ZXR loadiine, I cant find it anywhere, so would be good to figure it out.

Easy way is to MD5 the ELF and let us know if its a mod or just repackaged.

yeah i wish i could remember where i DL it from or when or why
but when i 1st used loadiine for 1st time i could not figure out how to get it to Dl covers so i thought it was broke or something so i immediately switched to this which i found in my Dl folder

looks like it was last modified on jun 6th or 8th
