Yes, I've checked the normal GBA games, and the updated games with (colours restored, ghosting...) none of them are working, just bootling into a blackscreen.
Weird is - GB/GBC & Snes games are working fine.

If you can't use browserhax after a few tries, it's probably a partial downgrade and you should downgrade again.
Thanks! I did have some trouble trying to get browserhax working again, but I finally did (after ~25 tries, I looked for a workaround and it worked) and reinstalled menuhax. After doing that, I tried to restart the downgrade process, and it says that it was already done.

Well yeah if it restarted automatically it is done. It supposed to do that, next time don't take your eyes off the screen and read the information carefully as it shows up :teach:

A9LH & Luma 5.5
Just one thing, can you try this to see if it helps?

Turn off system and hold Select before rebooting it. The luma menu should show up, What does the option for Patch AGB Firmware show? Change it to the oppisite and see if it helps. Although in all honesty you shouldn't have to but it just how you make better diagnosis of things :)

I'm willing to bet either something is wrong with the patch for GBA games or the cia somehow.... so that we narrow it down :teach:

(x) Show GBA boot screen in patched AGB_FIRM

Thats all I got there - nothing else with AGB Firmware stuff.

And Yes, I tough first that the cia was bad, but I tested around 30 other games, all booted into a black scren. ^^

Okay well try disable it and see if it worked. As far as i know the only thing it does when is on is boot the GBA logo like you do on real gameboy advance before start up. so maybe it helps if its off.

Yep that's right. Here's a link for 1.4.17: https://github.com/Steveice10/FBI/releases/tag/1.4.17
The Plailect guide will tell you how to inject using Decrypt9, I think it's at the bottom of Part 3 but not certain. Basically, boot into Decrypt9 and go to miscellaneous I think, then dump health & safety, naming it hs.app. Download the injecting files from Plailect's guide and put hs.app and fbi.cia in the input folder and double click go.bat. Then put the FBI_with_banner.app in the root of your SD and boot into Decrypt9 again. Do the same but say inject health and safety instead of dump, and choose the FBI with banner file. Now you're done (for more precise instructions look at Plailect's guide)

my homebrew menu boots into a black screen what the hell? it was working yesterday... maybe a problem with the boot.3dsx file? i'm using the homebrew launcher that is assigned in the a9lh guide that downloads the payload.

Any idea what could be causing the problem? it says it downloads the payload and goes through all the epileptic colors and glitches upon booting up like always but black screen at the end. VERY convenient after I need to enter homebrew channel

No clue, guess

Got it working - I installed an older build (d3c507b0) now its working fine. Guess I stop updating Luma now, since all is working fine. Thanks for all your help. c:
What help. you fixed it yourself :P

But i don't think the latest build was the problem somehow since I and many users have that 5.5 build and never had spoke of this. Perhaps some files were corrupted? Did you download the build from the a9lh installation guide or use the luma updater cia app on the system?
