Misc Just bought HeartGold, but I accidentally bought the Portuguese version. What does this mean for me?

Will it still be able to trade with North American versions? Does that even still work? I'm hoping trading is 100% peer to peer and doesn't rely on the nonexistent WFC…

Thanks!

The only thing that's WFC is the basement of any Pokémon Center and the Global Terminal in Goldenrod City where the Game Corner is. As long as you avoid those areas, you can communicate with players in any way the game will let you.

Just curious, by "Portuguese" you meant Brazil or Portugal? I take it it's Brazil because you're NTSC.

I should have been clearer, I meant Portugal. So there's no region locking whatsoever (so I can play it on American consoles and trade etc. as if it's the American version), and the game will be in either English or Spanish? That's what I'm hoping for. I ended up paying significantly less than an American copy of HeartGold goes for, too.
