That's good to know, thanks man. Turns out that I had put the right rom directory, with the wrong slashes. Use forward slashes, if you copy and paste a lot! ///
Lol
Now I'm wondering if it's OK to share a cover folder between not64 and wii64, because my covers aren't showing. I'm also getting dupes in NES tried reloading cache under NES and at main menu. Not 64 loads but doesn't go back to wiiflow when you quit, whether you load a game first or not. Others do fine. Could it be autoboot in priiloader?

I didn't use fuzzy correctly on N64 titles; they didn't get renamed. So they didn't show up. Better double check that every time.

Not sure sure how to fix duplicates, but some covers I updated, but they don't change when I reload the cache.
duplicates can occur when you have several extensions for the roms
most emulators have zip support so best way to fix it is zip all your roms and edit the extensions line in the plugin ini file accordingly. other emus have iso/bin/cue support so bin and cue files will give duplicates, in this case remove the bin and keep the cue from the extensions line that is :)

Hi all,

Recently i redid my Wii and now i'm encountering the following problem:

I got a 2TB hard disk wich is divided in 3 partitions:

Wii (X:/)
Gamecube (Z:/)
Overig (O:/)

The Wii games on the partition Wii (X) and the Gamecube games on partition Gamecube (Z) are working perfectly.

Now i wanna put the games of other emulators on the Overig (O:/) partition. I started with Nintendo64 games. I made a folder with the name wii64 on the partition Overig (O:/) and in this folder i made a folder names roms. I placed 2 games inside it.

The wii64.ini is as follow:

[PLUGIN]
displayname=Wii64
magic=57493634
coverfolder=wii64
dolfile=wii64-mod6.dol
romdir=wii64/roms
filetypes=.n64|.v64|.z64|.zip
consolecoverid=nintendo
covercolor=ffffff
bannersound=N64.ogg
arguments={device}:/{path}|{name}|{loader}

When i start the emulator it tells me it can't find any games. I select partition3 in wiiflow but still no games are found.

What am i doing wrong?

Are all the parts formatted as Fat32 or NTFS or mixed?
Most emulators prefer FAt32 and work best from FIRST ACTIVE FAT32 Partition.
I prefer to have FAT32 as first partition not only for Emus but Also for Emunand and GC games
Wii games can go to second partition Fat32(with large games split to 4gb parts) or NTFS (for large size single files)

Thanks for the reply.

All partitions are FAT32.

First partition (USB1) is Wii (X:/)
Second partition (USB2) is Gamecube (Z:/)
Third partition (USB3) is Overig (O:/)

Is it possible what i want or is it not possible?

I have always come across issues when trying to use multiple partitions. Not saying it can't be done (because I have seen posts of people saying it worked) but I could never get it working. Since just about everything uses FAT32 and some things require the partition to be first, I eventually just wound up formatting my entire drive to FAT32 and everything has been working fine for me ever since. So unless there is a really good reason why you need 3 FAT32 partitions, I would suggest that you just reformat for a single FAT32 partition and use that.

is this the only plugin that does this when exiting to return to wiiflow?

first possible reason is you are missing the hidden channel needed for wiiflow to return after running a plugin.

second - this not64 plugin is not modded to return to wiiflow so it just hangs.

It only happens with not64. Wiisx returns normally to wiiflow

Wouldn't you need to declare the partition in the path that's in the ini since it's on sd card? You could try putting the app itself in the N64 game partition. Remember to use forward slashes.

This is outdated info (I'm only updating the masterpiece website):

For all the news and downloads check the new website

According to the first post, it says the info is outdated and that I should check out the website. But when I click on the link for the website I get:

Error (429)
This account's links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!

I have been using USB Loader GX for years and love it. I only use it for Wii, GameCube, WiiWare and Virtual Console games. I never got into emulators on the Wii. But after seeing what WiiFlow can do I think I want to try. If I'm understanding it correctly, I will be able to select the rom I want to play from the loader and have it automatically launch the game in the appropriate emulator and then return back to WiiFlow when I exit, correct? Sounds kinda like Hyperspin which I've been trying to set up for years. But doing it through WiiFlow looks to be much easier. I already have all the roms, covers and videos for every system. Are their any updated instructions on how to get this all working? And if I already have a working USB Loader GX setup will I need to do anything different to keep my Wii, GameCube, WiiWare and Virtual Console games working in WiiFlow? Thank you.

I made a mirror in my sig: http://nintendont.gxarena.com/MasterPiece/Wiiflow_Pack.html
until this stupid suspention is over
The switch from GC to Wiiflow is really easy, they both use same path for Wii/GC and both have path selection for WW/VC emunands
as for Emulators I already have the rompaths incuded in the setup instructions and already made empty folders in the zipped pack so that it's easy to setup

Wow. That's one heck of a pack you got there. Although I'm not really sure I know what to do with it all. I originally thought all I would need to do is extract the whole pack to the SD card. But there is so much stuff in there and I'm sure I don't need it all. Maybe if you could help me get things working one step at a time. Like I am doing this on my Wii U's vWii. I have USB Loader GX, Nintendont and neek2o with an emunand all working perfectly. What would I need to do first to make sure I can get all those things working in WiiFlow?

Extract everything except the nand folder then use wiiflow channel installer app
Launch wiiflow and press B select wiiware icon then if you have a custom path select it in the settings.
Wii and GC should work out of the box
You ll be using Nintendont mastermod for GC. Launch a GC game press b to exit autoboot then update nintendont.
As for emulator plugins they should all appear when you press B in wiiflow. Only thing you need to do is copy your roms to the default path for each emulator.
