I posted a list that Elyos made a few pages back, which details what works and doesn't at this time so far assuming you use the correct JIT number in the game's config. The list is still growing by the day so be sure to bookmark and keep an eye on it. ;)
Well, looks good (Other than a lot of spelling errors. Someone should fix that.)

It should also probably be mentioned that you can save games. However, you need to make a folder called "desmumedesmume" and yes, it's the same word twice, then depending on what version you have you should place it:
  • .3dsx: in the /3ds/desmume folder directory. (Basically wherever the .3dsx file happens to be.)
  • .cia: in the root of the SD card.
Then saving your game should work.
Well, looks good (Other than a lot of spelling errors. Someone should fix that.)

I know, right? Unfortunately that's the price you pay when you only have one person maintaining all entries and they are forced not to trust anyone else with edit access.

Save states, screen rotation, custom borders, etc. You can't do those natively.

mmmmm....for those features, (unless RTS and with DSTWO u can ) need the use of resources ....and the main problem in this emulator is the lack of them...so those implementations are wortheless . Natively you can play NATIVELY...any feature couldnt be compared with this.

As i said, 2d games (somes, not all) will be run on DECENT rates on this emulator....now i want to see exigent 3D games like DQIX or another one... (or 2D games with so much sprites on screen).

Greetings

so are cia and 3dsx equal now or
Most of the time on the first core is reserved for the system, and while we can create a thread on the 3rd core (N3DS) I've never been successful at running a thread on the 4th core. And remember that the threading on the 3DS is cooperative, so only 1 thread runs at a time per cpu. The .cia of the WIP release ( one before the JIT release ) has the rasterizer running on a separate cpu, so you can compare the speed with the .3dsx and see if there is any noticeable differences.
there will be a massive difference in the future I believe

Yes I know. Specialy the gpu renderer. Imo it'll be a pain to get it to work correctly.
Let's see what dev are cooking for us! :)

This is purely based off my experience Android but, would it be possible to increase the RAM by making a Homebrew app links a piece of the sd card the base RAM? I don't know for sure if this would help with speed on O3ds. If I'm wrong, this is not really my area of knowledge.

I don't believe something like a swap disk would work on the 3DS. Of course, many who've said things aren't possible here have been proved wrong, but as far as I know it's not possible.
