I've successfully dumped a few games so far with DDD, namely Smash (US)(Disc), Mario Maker (US)(Digital), Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (US)(Digital) and Wind Waker HD (US)(Digital).

But, I've been trying for a very long time to dump my Pikmin 3 (US)(Disc), and every time, when it reaches "/vol/content/CMCmn/map/vs_antsnest2.szs", the disc stops spinning at a point between 38000 KB and 41000 KB, halting the dump entirely. The fact that this one file has barred me from dumping this game infuriates me. I'm not really sure where the problem lies, but I thought I would report it just in case anything can be done about it, or in case anyone else experiences this issue.

Ok so I have just attempted my first dump at DLC that I own. I downloaded all the DLC through the eshop for my Mario Kart 8 disc. Then I dumped everything with DDD. I assume that the folder with DLC is the one called "aoc0005000c1010ec00" correct? So how do I get that DLC to play through loadiine? I have created a folder called "dlc" directly inside the game folder (next to meta, content and code). I then moved the contents of "aoc0005000c1010ec00" to that folder so it looked like this:

sd:\wiiu\games\Mario Kart 8 [AMKE01]\dlc\0010\...
\0011\...
\0012\...
...
I enabled dlc for that game in loadiine and no dice.

So next I tried renamimg the dlc folder to aoc0005000c1010ec00 So it looked like this:

sd:\wiiu\games\Mario Kart 8 [AMKE01]\aoc0005000c1010ec00\0010\...
\0011\...
\0012\...
...

Tried again. Still not working. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Put the folder "aoc0005000c1010ec00" in the Mario Kart 8 [AMKE01] folder on the SD card where the "content", "code" and "meta" folders are.

Yeah, sorry I edited my post. I already tried that

Put the folder "aoc0005000c1010ec00" in the Mario Kart 8 [AMKE01] folder on the SD card where the "content", "code" and "meta" folders are.
Actually there must of been a space in there or something because I redid everything and put the folder in where you told me and it works. Awesome thanks!

I am trying to dump my DLC for Hyrule Warriors with DDD with the following command:

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Windows\system32>C:\Downloads\titledumper.win32.v0.4\titledum
per.exe titledumper.exe /vol/aoc/ "C:\DDD/"
Title Dumper by Dimok
Waiting for WiiU connection... (press Ctrl+C to stop)
Client 0 connected
Create path: /vol/aoctitledumper.exe

I'm sure I am making a simple mistake but could anyone help me out? It doesn't dump the folder. Thank you!

NVM! Saw my mistake :P

So I dumped the DLC but I'm not sure it worked. It's only 171kb. Here is the output:

My computer just says Client 0 connected. Create path: base_output_pathWiiU_dump_path and the game loads

That looks like what you'd get if you copy/pasted titledumper.exe WiiU_dump_path base_output_path from the OP, then started guessing what to enter after that failed. (It would be easier to help you if your screenshot included the command you entered. Without it, we can only reverse engineer.)

The examples in the OP demonstrate that WiiU_dump_path and base_output_path aren't meant to be entered literally.

Try: titledumper.exe /vol c:/NintendoLand
/vol
is the path you want to dump from on the WiiU
c:/NintendoLand is the path you want to dump to on the PC

Hey everyone. I've got a CRUSHINGLY SLOW transfer speed using ddd right now and I have no idea what to do about it...My speed is 0.75 kb/ss.

My WiiU and PC are both connected to the network with ethernet cables. My router is AC and consistently pumps 700-800+ Mbps to and from my PC.

The command I'm running from my PC is: titledumper.exe /vol "E:/ProgramFiles/smash_mods/Smash4/". The game is a digital download, installed on my WiiU's internal hard drive. My PC's E drive is where I run all my Steam games from, so I know it's got a fast enough read/write rate. It's got >100GB free on it.

What am I doing wrong? At this rate it will take me days if not weeks to dump the ls and dt files I need just to get started.

sort-of-side rant: Why in the world aren't we all just torrenting these files to each other??? It seems really ridiculous that everyone has to rip the game off of their wiiu with this method, instead of one person doing that and then sharing the results with the world...I could have downloaded this in 2-3 minutes several hours ago, without setting up WAMP, messing with my firewall, etc...

/rant, please help!

dumping your own game is how you should do it (legal). and we are not sharing it between us because it's illegal.
What you ask (torrenting) is already possible ! some people dumped all existing games already, you only have to find sharing ISO websites. This forum is not a sharing file community, you can't get information about these website here.

I don't know why it's so slow for you. can't you try with wifi connection instead of ethernet?
Other people seems to have issues dumping Smah bros's dt file too.

I'm trying to dump Smash Bros on 5.5.1.
The OP doesn't say that this is compatible with 5.5.1, but the latest release on Github says that support was added for 5.5.x.

I'm having a problem. Smash Bros doesn't pause on the logo after I launch ddd, set my ip, press X, and launch the game. The game proceeds normally.

On ddd, I set the ip to 192.168.1.22. That's what ipconfig gave me by IPv4 Address under Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi.

Here's the full command line output:
Code:
C:\Users\admin\Downloads\dump>titledumper.exe WiiU_dump_path base_output_path
Title Dumper by Dimok
Waiting for WiiU connection... (press Ctrl+C to stop)
Client 0 connected
Create path: base_output_pathWiiU_dump_path

Client 0 connected only appears after I launch Smash.

I may not even be able to figure out how to use ddd, but I know the OP says...

If you look at the examples in the OP, you're supposed to replace "WiiU_dump_path" and "base_output_path" with folder names. So, to dump all of Sm4sh to a folder called "SmashBros", you would type "titledumper.exe /vol SmashBros".

@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
