I'm not using anything like that. And if I was, the part where I said "they work fine on For Glory" wouldn't apply

Regardless I think it was just a very, very major coincidence that I kept disconnecting in 4P matches online because I ended up getting a few in just fine after posting.

Here's a link with the "basic" files you need:

You've already got the title ID folder for Sm4sh, so just copy that "wiiu" folder and everything inside it.

You can use loadiine.ovh, or you could use my kernel exploit page, googiehax.xyz. It's basically the same thing, just a bit simplified. And sexier. lol

Added the files under wiiu, tried to run your exploit, only message I get is "No kexploit"
Tried to see if I can get kexploit here but whenever I try to download those files I get a virus warning and it refuses to download them, so I'm a little weary of that.

Er, probably should have given more detailed instructions.

Okay, so you have the "wiiu" folder at the ROOT of your SD card.

You go to googiehax.xyz, selected your firmware, ran Kexploit31, then when the console returns to the home screen, go back to the web browser, load up googiehax.xyz again, click your firmware again, and then run SDCafiine. After that, load Sm4sh. Should take a wee bit longer than usual to load up, but then your mods should work.

You have to do this process EVERY time you want to start up Sm4sh with mods, btw.

wiiu is at the root, I just realized what I did wrong... I forgot to run kexploit31 before SDCafiine. :I
I'm, er. Very smarts.

The exploit itself ran fine this time. But still not textures. This is exactly where I was at the start.

Okay, so at this point I would try a different mod. Something to to check and see if mods are running right at all.

Put this song in your sound > bgm folder. It should replace the Main Menu theme with a silly song:

Yeah, that definitely worked. Though now I'm confused. I don't really see any reason why the texture hack WOULDN'T work.
I'm gonna upload the entire folder, maybe you can find something off about the files for the mod?? This is the texture I'm trying to load, I only changed the folder name in model data from c08 to c05 and the chr replace endings to 09 to 05 so that it replaces already existing skins instead of having to make extra slots.

Huh. I don't SEE anything inherently wrong, but when I get home I can try to run the skin on my build to see if it works. It might just be an issue with the mod itself, have you tried any other skins?

Just tried this one, same thing. Exploit runs fine, but nothing shows up. BGM also still working.

Try a different character altogether, like Mario or ZSS.

Turns out, I just suck at dumping games... Perhaps if I just stick the files directly on my SD card, the sfx mods I have may work. I'll give it a shot and let everyone know how it goes. Not crossing my fingers for this though!

So I traced your issue to one of two possibilites, and I should have realized both of them sooner:

Your SD card sucks, or your SD card reader sucks. This happened to my roommate. An SD that worked perfectly fine on my Wii U failed to load some mods on his Wii U. IDK why.

Also, I should have asked if you used Sm4shExplorer to copy the mods, or if you did it by dragging/dropping folders? You HAVE to use Sm4shExplorer for skins. Once again, IDK why. Maybe it does something I don't know about (I assume building the patch list). This also means you're gonna need to get a clean dump of the game and the updates, which will probably be one of the more difficult tasks. I'd link you mine, but the one I have won't be of any use since it's for US. There are plenty of useful threads on here though, so you should be able to get some help from someone who's dumped the EU version.

Once that's done though, you should have no more problems.

Alright, I'm gonna be dumping my Sm4sh then, hopefully after that and Sm4shExplorer it'll work. If not, well. New SD it is.

For my custom Lucas texture, whenever I use it I can't see it until I zoom in with the camera. Any known fixes? I included some pictures so you can see what I mean.

Your texture likely doesn't have mipmaps generated.
