Jamestown is always a good go-to along with "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime". I'm pretty sure those both came to console, though I'm not sure which consoles.

Not sure if you are into Puzzle Platformers at all, but there is the really cool co-op PSN only game called "Trine"

I rarely ever like any form of platformers, but i really enjoyed Trine, it's got awesome visuals and it's really fun to play with friends on a nice HD-TV :)

If your a fan of platformers, Little Big Planet Three might be best. I enjoyed a lot of the game including things from bomb survivals, unique levels, "scary" levels even like Five Nights at Freddy's, and some of the level creating aspects. The game works great with Co - Op. The only downside is you cannot leave each others Point of View in a "versus" level. The community base is okay, and I wouldn't really consider it as great considering the latest things that happened since LBP 1 & LBP 2, but if your willing to take a dive to try and find legitimate good levels, and not "copied" than I would say the game is worth it. Including if you just want to play on the couch, and play some advanced, or simple indie games.

But if your not into that there's also Uncharted Three Co Op. I never really played it since I only have the multiplayer free to play game at the moment. But various people have enjoyed it a lot. You can try surviving as long as possible in a place full of badies, or play the main co-op campaign.

Lets see here... There's also PlayStation All Stars but that mostly sucks, so eh. Terraria is a great one if you just want to play an adventure game, Minecraft is also great if you prefer just have a relaxed feel of sandbox games, or if you want to have intense 3D PvP Battles (Of course that will vary on your equipment, and knowledge of Minecraft PvP.) But if your a more casual player than something like Castle Crashers is also great :).

What i meant by 'PSN only' was that it's not available on Blu-Ray Disc (since this thread was posted in the PS3 section :) )

Any tales game, really. ><

Oh wow. This thread was made back in February. Well then.

Yeah I didin't really notice when I made my post. By tales I'm guessing your looking for JRPGS, RPGS, or games similar to a movie, of mostly "mature", or "realistic" stories.

I will just go off the list;

Uncharted (Any Game.)

Infamous (Any game.)

Grand Theft Auto (Any game.)

Dark Souls (Any game.)

God of War (Any game.)

Bioshock (Any game.)

Call of Duty, Modern Warfare (Any game.) (If your craving more war like stories than this may be a good game for you. It mainly consists of just war. But if you feel like wanting to know what happens during that war, zombie appoclapse or whatever, this may be for you.)

Elder Scrolls/Skyrim (Any game.)

Fallout (Any game.)

About 1% of them are (Only one is Uncharted for Co Op :P. I'm not to sure about Bioshock though.) You just asked for games that tell tails so I just gave you them :D. (I assumed you weren't looking for Co OP Games.) Dead games tell no tails

I also know a few horror games. But they aren't co op, also if it's co op your looking for I MAY just know one game that can cut the cake. If you don't really care as much about the story Twisted Metal for the PS3 would also be great http://www.co-optimus.com/game/2124/playstation-3/twisted-metal.html Another game I thought was cool that was more casual, and light hearted (kinda.) Is Castle Crashers. The game has co op that allows you to play volleyball, play the main story, play the main story in co op while online, and for whatever reason if you want PvP, or PvE arena battles to the death.

Of course since Castle Crashers is more of a comedic game, and casual the story line will almost not even matter. It still has a story but you kind of have to interpret how it goes.

Wait, no. I was actually talking about the "Tales of..." video game series. :P Xenon mentioned Symphonia.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
