Sony E3 Conference - Live Coverage - Ended

It's almost time to wrap up day 2 of E3 and GBAtemp still here to covering the conferences from all your favorite gaming companies! Next on tap: Sony.

The conference starts in 20 minutes; that's 6PM Pacific, 8PM Central, and 9PM Eastern. Make sure to share your thoughts with the GBAtemp community as the conference continues!

  • The preshow has started.
  • Hawken is coming to ps4 in early summer.
  • Eagleeye is coming to PSVR this fall. Fly as an eagle. Pvp eagle vs eagle. Oh damn PETA will be all over this.
  • Bunches of Watch_Dogs 2 cutscenes. As we know this game will take place in San Francisco. Hope the game will actually look half this good upon release. Available November 15th.
  • And now for your feature presentation!
  • Gameplay for the new God of War was shown. It looks really awesome. Hunting for a deer goes from 0-100 real quick. Looks like PETA will be all over this too.
  • Days Gone cutscenes. Goes over the main character's backstory a bit. No gameplay.
  • The Last Guardian is still looking nice. It will be released on October 25th.
  • Fight complex and sentient machines with bows and arrows in Horizon Zero Dawn. It looks like your choices affect the story in this open world game. No seriously, this looks awesome.
  • Detroit: Become Human. Woah - this looks great from a story perspective. Looks like the entire game is based on your decisions. Looks like there are many alternatives for a single event. Yup - this looks great.
  • Hey look Resident Evil VII. Woah, they swore in an E3 trailer without blurring it! Releasing on January 24th. It'll also work on PSVR. Honestly the trailer was frightening - in a good way!
  • Speaking of - PSVR will be released on October 13th 2016 for $399.
  • Looks like a Star Wars Battlefront mission will come to PSVR.
  • Batman Arkham VR. #Wearthecowl
  • Final Fantasy XV looking fly as ever. It looks like it's being released for PSVR too! Or is it just a demo thing? They weren't clear.
  • Infinite Warfare looks crazy different. All those people wanting them to innovate must have gotten their wish.
  • YEAH CRASH! This is why we're here! Looks like they're remastering the first three Crash Bandicoots!
  • That said, there's no NEW Crash title coming out - but instead he'll be in Skylanders.
  • LEGO The Force Awakens. Looks cool.
  • Kojima Productions is producing.. A naked man. With tar for hands... And a baby that turns into fish. And he has no stomach anymore. And he looks like Daryl from The Walking Dead (same actor). WTF is this? And why am I so interested? DEATH STRANDING!
  • Spiderman! #SpidermanPS4. Looks open world to me!
  • Another preview for Days Gone. It's possible that this is the end of the conference.

THIS IS WHAT E3 SHOULD BE ABOUT EVERY YEAR, don't feed the trolls guys game after game was announced without pause, it was amazing, looking forward to the nintendo presentation, the japanese know their shit.

Crash shouldn't have been resurrected without naughty dog. Sony should have stopped when, surely, they failed re-aquire the ip from greedy ass activision.

You can say sony won it.. and compared to the others, they did.. But most of the games they displayed feel almost exactly the same as the games that we got last year.

I can't believe an e3 conference is actually swaying me to buy a console, I was honestly planning to leave this generation dead but I want my Kojima fix (unless it gets released to PC, if so I can do without a few ps4 exclusives).

I was kinda sorta expecting a price cut today but I'm fine without it. A lot of the games announced today look pretty rad to me. Honestly I might end up jumping at all of the main ones.

Holy heck, i don't think an E3 conference has ever persuaded me to buy a console but here I am. Game after game after game was announced, bam bam bam. Microsoft got crushed, plain and simple.

thanks to ubisofts boring ass conference I overslept sonys
Not a huge hit like last year but compared to the competition they were still the best ones.
I wish we would see Gravity rush 2 on stage though
They released a 1:30 mintes trailer, why not jam it in somewhere?
Also FF15 VR looks bad af.
REsi 7 genuinely surprised me though

Also Kojima and Norman Reedus drinking Konami tears
Also Crash revival
Also Nordic God of war is what I like to look at.
Also there was so little talking by executives in this conference. They just cut from trailer to trailer with no Bullshit in between. So refreshing after the bollocks that was EA, Bethesda, PC gaming & Ubi.
So yeah as expected, since Ninty ain't announcing shit, Microsoft and Sony had the most exiting conferences.
