Where would bricking by installing O3DS 9.2 FW files on an N3DS unwittingly land? Recoverable without a nand dump and hardmod, or nah? >.>. Still so embarrassing and all my fault.

That's for gateway bricks, which lock the EMMC. Unrelated to this.

Yes, ebay or whatever you have as an equivalent there. Better off buying a new one though because of shipping rates, etc.

good working 9.2 Motherboard alone is probably impossible to find. You would have better luck just buying a brand new unit that is on 9.2.

It don't have to be on 9.2. If it's on 10.7 or lower he can downgrade via software, 11.0 he can downgrade via hardmod.
