ROM Hack [Spider] ARCode

Probably late to the party, but I figured I would clarify something (for myself). SpiderAR Codes are ONLY for the old3ds, correct? Because no matter what I do, I haven been completely unable to get them to work. Even on an untouched 9.2 system (2ds and n3ds) I just get a perpetual black screen. I'm guessing n3ds is not supported, but even my 2ds freezes.

On another note, and again probably explained somewhere that I, for the life of me, was unable to find, how do you use these with games that require a higher firmware version? I see codes for things like Bravely Second and Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, and even if my 3ds didnt just freeze, I have no idea how to use these because they require a firmware version that no longer supports the QR exploit. Help. I'm so confused.

Yeah. I've got NTR, but only a handful of games have codes I actually want to use available.

Yes, only for o3ds,XL and 2ds. No idea on the black screen. Install the old browser version on your 2ds. You can find it on that ISO site.
You can install the old browser version on new firmware, as said above.

Won't work on n3ds because n3ds uses a browser called SKATER. Not spider. Completely different exploits, none like this.

You can convert spider codes to NTR codes on a per game basis. Or use @imthe666st 's modified NTR debugger to apply gateshark codes.

You can learn to read gateshark codes and convert them in your head to ntr. They use the same addresses.
For spider ->NTR you do some dumps with the debugger and try to find a code you already have in spider. Like say you're looking for infinite money. Find the value to change. Write down the address it's at in NTR. Subtract the spider address from the NTR address, and you'll have an offset. Add that offset to your other spider codes, and they'll usually work, unless theyre stored in a different memory region from INF money, in which case you'll need to do that again for a code in that memory region.

I'm not sure if it's possible to use them with ARCodes, but you can, however, try and decompress GameData.bin.lz in the GameData folder of the rom, then hex edit the decompressed GameData.bin.lz, re-compress it back, and patch it back in. There are certain bit flags that enable/disable characters to use the sacred weapons (even the exclusive amiibo weapons). I can't really tell you how to do it in detail since I'm only repeating what @DeathChaos25 told me.

Is there a code to unlock all skills in Devil Survivor Overclocked? Or a way to save edit them in?

There is a thread about it, but maybe we'll get better results here?

Oh, and if there's one/someone can make one for Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker, that'd br awesome.

I submitted a set of codes for Devil Survivor - Overclocked (US, CTR-AMTE) at Fort42 under the Gateshark section.

They include:

Max level and stats for MC, team 2 leader and team 1, 1st slot demon
Skill codes for the same along with the necessary ID's

Have you tried the USA codes? Also if you setup NTR CFW you can use a version of NTR Debugger that has Gateshark compatibility, since Gateshark has a better selection of codes.

I try the USA codes but they don't work, i use the one for the special edition becouse is the version i have. For the NTR CFW i can set up this even if i have Rainand? (Even if i don't think they work becouse...they are for the USA version)

I believe NTR works with Reinand but I don't have any knowledge on how to set it up.
Unfortunately I think only Powersaves have EUR version codes, atleast right now.

EDIT:
You could try FEFTwiddler, it is a save editor that should do everything you need to do with codes.

I already use, i want use the code only becouse easy for me, not then file management is a problem for me is only more easy. Well i guess i can wait

Alright, hopefully the difference in the code versions is a simple offset, which when found you can convert all back and forth.
