I'm having trouble understanding what you wrote when you mentioned cheating the powerups for Super Mario Maker, I'm at the address 26FA6EC4 but the number always stays at 2BAC4924 and doesnt ever change. I dont see a place to add 01, 02, 03, etc.

P.S. I have issues ejecting saves for Super Mario Maker so I'll just cheat for them on my own save, but thank you for offering yours.

The code I sent you is a pointer code: [0x26FA6EC4] + 0x39C
when playing the level , pause the game and go to memory viewer. put the address 26FA6EC4
another address should be inside there. take that address and add 39C to that address with your calculator(or whatever app you have) and that will give you the right address to poke!
or easy solution if you are on JgeckoU, go to memory viewer there, click on "follow pointer and copy paste this [0x26FA6EC4] + 0x39C then put value you need.

On a different note, I just wanted to let you guys know I got TCPGecko working with Wind Waker HD yesterday, but there are a couple of questions I'd like to ask please.

First of all, does TCPGecko allow an address to be frozen so that it doesn't have to be pinged every time a specific effect is desired?

And second, can you use codes with TCPGecko that require a specific button press (like Moon Jump)?

Anyway, thanks in advance guys. Hopefully with enough time, I'll get more and more used to TCPGecko.

Yes and yes, check out the first post for my codehandler and Bully's JGeckoU. However, this port of TCPGecko has compatibility issues with WWHD, TPHD and StarFox Zero

Have you tested Mass Effect 3? It seems to have problems to connect with TCPGecko too, in fact it has problems to connect with saviine too.

I didn't since I don'T have this game. But I won't mind getting it since it's often <10 bucks

Thank you, but unfortunately it didn't change a lot (at least for TPHD). Connectivity was lost shortly after connecting

Ok, maybe my socket code is causing it. I will upload a version which uses the old socket code.

So I'm looking to see if there has been any work on creating a 3-heart challenge hack that would allow someone to still collect heart pieces/containers without fear of receiving the 4th heart in Wind Waker HD.

Has anyone found a hack for this? If not, is anyone interest/willing to work with me in figuring one out?

This is the health' address: 15073BC3
You can make a conditional code that resets the health to 12 (3 hearts) once it's supposed to be anything bigger than that.

But as you can see on the recent posts TCPGecko.elf has connectivity problems with this game. But it may be fixed.

Thanks Cosmo! Yeah I did notice a mention that the .elf had problems with WWHD, and planned to use the browser method instead.

Honestly I thought it would be a little harder to figure this out. I guess this method would end up showing empty hearts in the meter, which isn't bad I guess.

I was hoping to make something where the meter would visually stay at 3 hearts even if a container is picked up. My guess is to finding where the address for increasing the health meter size is and put a condition there.
