When I install theme cia it wipes all my themes

Well, they're deleted now.
What you should do is put ALL the themes you want into the theme tool, and pack them ALL as a .cia TOGETHER.

You can't install multiple theme cia's at once, they have to be together in one file.

I'll assume you know what a CIA is, otherwise this would be a waste of time.

All themes in your 3ds are "stored" in a CIA. What "Howling" does is create the same CIA but with whatever themes you added to the list, then when you install that new CIA, you're replacing the one that is already in your 3ds, that's why any theme you had there will be overwritten. The only way you can keep both original and new themes at once is to extract them from your 3ds and then add them to the Howling list before creating the new CIA.

I don't know how you'd go about getting your themes though, so you'd have to look that up.

If they were officially obtained through the Theme Store, you can redownload them by going to the "My Theme Collection" part of the store.

That theme was downloaded from the old 3ds themes page (I think it was 3dsthemes.org or 3dsthemes.com).
It is not in 3dsthem.es...
If you want it I can PM it to you...

So, I had intalled some themes a couple of months ago, and they worked just fine. About two days ago I installed another .cia containing both the first themes, and some new ones, but instead of replacing the old themes, the old ones stayed, and some of the new themes didn't appear, and had some random official theme icons as well, any way to fix it?

Everytime i want to go into my Themes files, it comes up with the error "This folders haves a wrong structure". How do i fix this?

You must create a folder with this structure to work with Howling Theme Tool:

Main Folder
Main Folder/Custom
Main Folder/Custom NSFW
Main Folder/Oficiales

And your themes must have this structure:

bgm.bcstm (theme's audio)
bgm.ogg (audio's preview)
body_LZ.bin (*required*) (theme's background)
icon.png (*required*) (theme's icon)
name.txt (*required*) (theme's name) (it MUST be UTF-8 for “non-english” chars support)
preview.png (theme's preview)

Even if "icon.bmp" it's no longer required since v1.5.0, "icon.png" it's still required and every theme must have one.
The "icon.bmp" will be automatically generated based on "icon.png" while creating a theme package.
To be sure your themes are ready to be used with "Howling Theme Tool", please run the "Theme Checker" and check your theme's folder.
"Theme Checker" will also generate proper "icon.png" and "name.txt" based in "info.smdh" and the folder's name.

On your desktop (or whatever you like), create a folder:

Right click > New Folder > MyFolderExample

Then inside of MyFolderExample create the following 3 folders:

- Custom
- Custom NSFW
- Oficiales

Now you have this structure of folders:

MyFolderExample
MyFolderExample/Custom
MyFolderExample/Custom NSFW
MyFolderExample/Oficiales

Now just put your themes in some of these folders and run the program. Browse your "MyFolderExample" folder and then click OK. That's all.

1-DELETE the old package
2-Select two basic color themes as Shuffle
3-Install the new package using OFFICIAL NINTENDO'S INSTALLER aka: DevMenu or his mod BBM

Oh, sorry, I didn't read through the thread at all, I only read the first post and most likely missed it. And yeah my native language shouldn't be an excuse for laziness, but thanks for answering anyway!

Hey thanks for the release, it's pretty nice. But, I just had one problem. Since I previously installed CHMM2, I had some problems with the shuffling, but managed to fix it just by following the instructions on this thread.

But the problem happened while I was navigating through the eshop, and the themes just disappeared. But when I go to fbi to see if the install still exists, they are there. What should I do to fix this?

TL;DR My themes disappeared from the theme menu, and I just now have only the colors' themes.

Anyone know how to get icons working? ive got icons.png they show up on the applications but when i install it via cia they all turn blank.
