The ones used on the CSS are data/ui/replace/chr/chrn_11; chrn_12 and chrn_40 have names too but are likely used in Classic mode and other modes, and chrn_41 is for the "joins the battle" screens after you unlock a character

How would you go about using AMD Compress with images in ATI2N format? I'm trying to edit the names of characters on the character select screen and they use the same format
use the argb8888 method

convert to png, modify and compress to ati1n or ati2n and it works, i've done it and it works

i'll look into that. Where are the character names located?
you could add the method to modify the background too to help the persons who want to do that

Is it normal for the character select screen to take 10 plus mins to load i added the DLC characters chr files to the folder where the normal characters are

i'm timing it as i type this it's at 13 mins so far i thought i'll try rebooting the game and it's loading

Yeah i've had this problem with custom CSS before with a Greninja that i downloaded but i have some custom Fox ones and they load fine

Uh... quick question. So I finally figured out how to expand the stage slots within the game. My question is, is it possible to give that specific stage slot a file name at all so it can load something other than battlefield?

Click the tab k6/7/8/9

Lines on param file
8 and 9 is omega variants, 6 and 7 is normal
and type the stage ID you wan.

Well, I finally got that working. It appears on the CSS. I just don't know how to correlate it with an internal filename at all so I can add say the Metal Cavern mod with its own unique slot.
Just type the ID of the stage you want. You can't add stages but you can replace existing ones and then use the ID for the slot you added.

well this is duplicating stages and then adding an ID to it. The ID can be used for stages not normally accessed to or whateber. Smash modding is still too limited right now to add your own so it is only useful for that or for future use.

Are you using SD Cafiine? Also make sure you pack the mod.

Good news i got it to load all i did was copy these folders into the folders where the other characters are those folders are the DLC folders
