Do I simply replace the old files with the new ones for updating? And should I use the dev version, sounds like it's only for developers.

Don't use the dev version unless you know what you're doing with it.

As for updating just replace the relevant files (arm9loaderhax.bin or Luma3DS.dat)

Dev version doesn't work online, I believe.
Not with dev unitinfo enabled it won't.

The sysnand is already updated, what can I try is restore the 9.2 backup and upgrade again from there if the problem is what do you say... Thanks anyway

Delete any files relating to reiNAND, save up some space

No, You just move them to the luma folder. (Only the stuff in the reiNAND folder.)

Does somebody knows if using "Enable region/language emulation" makes the boot slower or consume battery? (like Clock speed)

Upgrading from ARN 4.3 or older to Luma3DS
  1. Follow the Installation section on this page
  2. If you're upgrading from 3.9 or older, move the contents of SD:/rei/ to SD:/luma/
  3. If, instead, you're upgrading from 3.10 or newer, move the contents of SD:/aurei/ toSD:/luma/
  4. Remove anything other than "payloads" folder in SD:/luma/
  5. (Optional) Rename your <button>.bin to <button>_<payloadname>.bin (e.g. y_uncart.bin)
  6. (Optional) Rename your default.bin to start_<payloadname>.bin (e.g. start_d9.bin)
  7. Boot.
  8. Reconfigure.
I am not entirly sure but I am pretty sure this is you question... Sry if it is not.
