This was made redundant months and months ago, and even more so since @Aurora Wright's patched TWL_FIRM was released. Use that instead.
sure redundant i agree, but for the few use cases where the person wants (some) flashcarts working whilst not needing hax/always keeping their 3ds updated, this will work when sign patched twl_firm would not.
some people want weird things :)

Hello! I'm trying to get my Gateway Blue card running on my N3DS and I heard this is the thread that's made it happen. I'm struggling to find where the information was posted however.

I am using Cubic Ninja+Reinand to access my Emunand which is currently running on ver 9.4, while my Sysnand is running on ver. 9.0.0-20U. I have tried removing the old white list title 0x0004800f484e4841 while in EmuNand, which allowed me to install bluecardfix (Also in EmuNand). I still do not see an icon coming up when inserting the blue card. The goal is to be able to play DS roms with it.

Does anybody know what else I must do to get it working? Thank you in advanced.

I haven't really done anything with this 3DS since last july when I followed a guide to hack it and get Fire Emblem Fates working, so i'm a bit shakey on the details. Are you suggesting I need to update my Emunand to a higher version? And if I do so, that will fix the issue?

no . . . you run reinand what you need is to update that (the cfw ) not the emunand . . . you need to download luma 3ds from here then delete the reinand folder from within the 3ds folder on your 3ds's sd card and copy the pink and green parts of the download to your sd card root
687474703a2f2f692e696d6775722e636f6d2f52374872546b722e706e67
and then on your 3ds boot up the homebrew channel then luma3ds (your new cfw)

luma3ds patches twl_firm witch allows blocked flashcards to work (your goal)

edit: at the luma3ds setup screen put a X next to
enable region/language emulation
show current nand in system settings
show gba boot screen

Thanks for the follow up. I downloaded the folders listed, but have looked through the contents and not come across arm9 or luma3ds.dat. If the "Menuhax" "luma" and "Pathchanger" are supposed to be in there too then I did not see those either. The folder I got from the download was "Luma3ds-master and its contents are those listed on the page. Have i done something wrong?

Well i pretty much just followed someones step by step guidance, and did it last year. It was specifically for the use of making Fire Emblem Fates and the then "new" patch work. I haven't followed up on 3DS hacking since, so if the set up is strange, thats ultimately why. So i extracted the files and moved everything over, but does the Arm9loader get moved too? or only the 3DS, Luma, and Luma3ds.dat mentioned above (Pink and Green)?

Edit - Sysnand is 9.0.0-20U

only the 3DS, Luma, and Luma3ds.dat mentioned above (Pink and Green)
that's it

the other files are only used if a9lh is your cfw entry-point . . . your cfw entry-point is the homebrew channel so the other files/folders are not needed

speaking of your cfw entry-point what is your sysnand fw version?

Assuming i haven't consistently misunderstood you, my Sysnand Version is 9.0.0-20U. The EmuNand is Ver 9.4

Perfect in that case you don't even need cubic Ninja you can use menuhax to boot the Homebrew Channel automatically when you power on the system what's more you can use something called ctrboot manager which will let you select from automatically booting into the CFW or The Homebrew Channel by simply turning on your system

So i've copied the 3DS, Luma, and Luma3ds.Dat to my SD card but upon booting up the Homebrew menu and selecting Luma I just get stuck on a black screen?

Ooooh that sounds awesome! So if I grab this "Menuhax" and I presume download the cia, whenever i power on my 3DS i will boot right into the homebrew channel? and this Ctrboot means i could make it so when I power on my 3ds i could power right into Luma?

Yes. I already had a folder on the root called "3DS" as its the same for pasta and CFW, so i just took the luma folder that was under "3DS" and copied it to the 3DS folders route that i already had made, so i assume that isn't a problem. the "Luma" stand alone folder and the .DAT file are directly on the root of the SD card. Luma appeared on the homebrew screen, it just didnt launch.

Edit - I never bothered to removed Reinand just in case, even when i moved to reinand i never removed pastacfw, so I assume that wouldn't have caused any problems? the Reinand.dat is still in the root of the SD card though, can't imagine that's a problem since i'm not booting Reinand right?

i dont think that is the problem you can attempt to back up the renand.dat then delete it if you want to test
but i think you should just delete the luma3ds files/folders and recopy them
