2. Yes, playing installed CIAs and bought games is okay
3. Yes, definitely! You can even select the "Install and delete" option if you are using FBI
4. Same as for regular games. You can buy DLC or install updates from the eShop or home menu. You can also install CIAs for DLC (or updates).
4.b. Note that, DLC installed as a CIA (and not bought) can be deleted sometimes if you open eShop. Causes for this are not really 100% clear, but it doesn't happen to everybody
5. Yes. But it doesn't hurt to check the forums before proceeding to update though
6. Unfortunately, the only way is either through DSiWare from the eShop, or a DS flashcart. There still no way to convert or inject .nds ROMs to CIAs.

DSMode flashcards are a safe bet, they are dirtcheap, anyways.

Can't tell about N3DS requirements, maybe a blacklistpatch or something would be needed...
If you put it in, dors it show up as a game?

Question, I have Luma3DS + A9LH, on all consoles of mine, but on the N3ds I not long ago bought, the screen brightness goes up and then down randomly at times, kinda annoying, not like that on O3DS

No, Luma3DS automatically patches the system, so you can play with a lot of old flashcarts. The dark gray GW cart with a blue sticker should work just fine!

May I ask if you have auto-brightness enabled?

two questions first off: can anyone provide a pokemon sun basically logo and sound (don't know how to explain but when you hover over it on the home menu like for example pokemon black 2 would have the icon as a black backround with a pokeball and the top screen the logo with a quick scene of music) btw im using this for the cia video converter to make a little troll lmao and if it were a video could I use it with streetpass and people will see or will it have to be on top of a game and if it did have to be how can I do that.

Second off: is there basically a shortcut for retroarch roms. Let me explain lets say I had ff 7 could I have a cia on my home menu and boot it like that or not? thanks!

1. This has already been done. Or at least, I know there's a Pokemon moon one, not sure about Pokemon sun. The Pokemon moon one is actually Pokemon crystal when you open it but it will show as Pokemon moon in Streetpass.
2. Not sure but I've seen it asked many times before so you'd probably be able to find out with a search (or maybe someone will know & tell you here)

quick question trying to set up ntr streaming and i cannot find the firmware.bin file Im looking at a tutorial on gbatemp and it says to look at aureinands github and I have and its not there unless im looking at the wrong one? (think i am)

Get the 10.4 firm and put it in the Luma folder, from the guide in my sig.

If it's enabled, it increases or decreases your brightness based on the surrounding light level, and that causes regular variations of the brightness, which matches what you described. So it will probably be "fixed" just by disabling the option.
