Not sure if anyone else had the same problem, but a few games I downloaded wouldn't run and just we're stuck on the loading screen. I guess it downloaded the ticket as well so I just redownloaded it from the eShop and they worked fine.
The game probably has an extra layer of encryption, and you get the key just by visiting the eShop page. If it's an out of region game, you will need to get your hands on a seeddb.bin file that contains the key for that game, and decrypt the CIA with Decrypt9 before install. Not sure if anyone else had the same problem, but a few games I downloaded wouldn't run and just we're stuck on the loading screen. Maybe ask @cearp to put it on the release page. The game probably has an extra layer of encryption, and you get the key just by visiting the eShop page. I gotta start leaving that in my clipboard.
I'm aware, but cearp is in charge of the repository, Drakia just does a lot of work for it, but he has to submit it in a pull request before it gets added. He doesn't have the ability to add anything to the release page. Only cearp can do that.@Drakia is one of the main contributors to this. I'm pretty sure they are already working on the issue.
Actually cearp gave me direct access to the repo a while ago, all of the 0.77 commits were merged by meI'm aware, but cearp is in charge of the repository, Drakia just does a lot of work for it, but he has to submit it in a pull request before it gets added. Is there a good tutorial for decrypting a CIA with Decrypt9 available? I tried it and it always fails. The game probably has an extra layer of encryption, and you get the key just by visiting the eShop page. Stop the bullshit.
Violating the law, even just civil law, is still illegal.
Willfully violating copyright is often a criminal offense. I mean seriously, have you never played a DVD in your life?
He kinda sounds like one of those "freeman of the land" types who doesn't acknowledge certain laws
But yes, breaking copyright law is indeed breaking the law
Hmm, by your own definition we actually aren't, we neither host nor distribute any copyrighted material. Nintendo hosts the content, we retrieve the database of questionably copyrightable titlekeys from a third party source, which neither of us hosts. If you want to get really technical though, Drakia, Cearp, and anyone else involved in the making of CIAngel are liable to the crime of criminal copyright. Anyone else who uses the program is not (unless they use it to distribute games or make bootleg copies).
Actually with the new release of FBI there's a simpler way I forgot about. Using the latest FBI, go to the Titles submenu, select the game, and choose the seed option. It's like magicIs there a good tutorial for decrypting a CIA with Decrypt9 available? I tried it and it always fails.

that's a cfw issue, maybe they could stop the deletion.I was thinking is there a way to make the file into read only after downloading the DLC to prevent the Eshop from removing the DLC content.
Not as far as I'm aware, no.I was thinking is there a way to make the file into read only after downloading the DLC to prevent the Eshop from removing the DLC content.
It would require some sort of modification to the eShop itself most likely, I'm not sure if any CFW would go to that level of searching to patch something like that. It would also end up having repercussions for people legitimately trying to purchase DLC.that's a cfw issue, maybe they could stop the deletion
This requires CFW with signature patching to be able to utilize the installed games. So without that, probably not.Would this still work for me even though I downloaded the recent firmware update Ver. 11.0.0-33U because I'm currently unable to access my homebrew with ironfall.
So I basically have to wait for homebrew to be available again. updating the firmware was the only way for me to access the eshop. This requires CFW with signature patching to be able to utilize the installed games. So without that, probably not.
Not just homebrew, but homebrew + CFW (Reinand, Luma3DS, Salt, etc).So I basically have to wait for homebrew to be available again. updating the firmware was the only way for me to access the eshop.
That's bad hopefully not major changes. They're onto you! Everyone run!
