I don't have the NNID to link, the games were from a previously purchased 3dsxl with 11 games installed. We never got the fella's password for the NNID. I have backed up all of the saves, and now I just want to delete the eshop installed games to install fresh versions with my gf's own NNID. Sorry if this seems complicated..

Just delete the biggest sized folder inside the Nintendo 3DS folder.

does anyone know how to figure out which version of AuReiNand I have installed on my O3DS XL?

it has been a while since I downgraded and installed CFW and I just cannot for the life of me remember what version it is

The newer ones show the ver in the config screen. Just update. The luma(it was renamed) thread has a wiki showing you how.

Not sure how the older versions worked for Luma3DS, but try holding Select at boot time.
Though, you should update.

1. Are tickets installed with fbi removed after factory reset?
2. Can i install cia installer in nand instead of injecting it in HaS app to keep it after reset?

I'd like to use an FTP client which uses 3ds homebrew and stuff, I've tried FT-shia but was unsuccessful, I couldn't connect to the server on my pc, followed instructions. Could someone send me a guide? Got a N3DS XL, it's a pain to take off the case always

I wouldn't install to nand it can cause issues(FBI). There is dev menu that installs to nand and is a CIA installer though. I'm pretty sure the tickets do get removed on a system format

Never heard of FT-Shia. Try using FTP-GMX, the .cia version. And using File-Zilla on your PC. PM me if you're still having trouble.

Use microsd management in system settings to put the microsd management cia on your console and use that?

Only for windows tho iirc. Also it's not FTP, but if you just wanna transfer files it works.

There's also a cia version of msd management on that iso site that just exits back to home menu instead of rebooting.

so, i've been reading plailect's guide. the first step states that i must have a firmware of >9.0. so, i'm guessing that i have to upgrade my firmware (4.3) to 9.2 first. but i'm kind of confused what the "downgrading" part of step 2 means?

You need to be between 9.0-9.2 to follow the guide. Part 2 doesn't fully apply to you, since you actually need to update.
Use this part of the guide to update to 9.2: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Update

Then follow Part 1 to get Menuhax setup, then go to part 2 (The guide tells you to skip to step 18 if already on 9.2, but make sure you do step 3 of part 2 at least, before skipping to step 18)
