Those were the only things NTR had, it dying is a good thing, people may make a better one.
I think that's part of the reason why @Margen67 wanted it to become open-source, so that more people could help with it's progress (much like what is happening with Luma3DS)...
Regardless of Margen67 or anyone else's intentions, software is the sole property of the person who wrote it and trying to force cell9 to release the source isn't right. While many believe that if it's homebrew, it should be open source, that doesn't change the general rules of personal property.
Why don't we redirect all that anger back at someone who deserves it, like GateWay. Let's bully them into releasing source so we can take out the brick code, copy the FreeCheat Function, etc.
Cell9 has never hurt anyone, GateWay has destroyed countless consoles with their malicious code.

He is the main contributor of that s***t called the edge of the forum. Even banned once or two, but still here

If there was ever a thread and situation to now make me wish I wasn't part of this forum, it's this. Regardless of who to blame, this is an ugly situation that shows how toxic this forum can be, and is. Petty elementary school shit. Anyways, at the very least, I'll express thanks for cell9's work on NTR CFW. Unfulfilled potential in the end.
@cell9 i know that now your gbatemp account will get flooded by notifications and i am really sorry for bth the bullying you reseived, the whole negative experience and that i am bothering you nad wastingg some of your time but i simply cant make a responce!!! Ntr will be missed and it as one of the most progressive and beatifull things that happened for 3ds!!! Remeber NEVER release the source code!!! (or booby trap it in an unrepairable way ;-) ) R.I.P. NTR (was really good as it lasted!)

Please consider re-starting progress on this CFW if you could. You're definitely talented, @cell9. Don't let one person upset you and delete some work. It may have been buggy as some state, but it was excellent work that no other 3DS application could provide.

Hi @cell9 the staff are investigating the matter, I would urge you to relax and calm down before you do anything rash while we look into things for you. Many hundreds (thousands) of people value your work and appreciate what you do, please do not let one idiot and his actions spoil things for everyone. While we look into things I will be closing this thread for a short period of time so that things can calm down. If you need to talk to any staff @cell9 feel free to PM us any time.
Thread is now open again. If possible, I'd like @cell9 to reconsider his choice. You can clearly see how much the community and the users care for your work, and it'd be a shame to stop working on it because of the actions of a single individual.
The final decision is obviously up to you - but I'd like to remember everyone else that's it's up to a developer to open-source his work or not and all of you should respect his decision on such matters.
By the way, that individual has been taken care of, since he's been a nuisance for a long time anyway

I disagree in taking action against him for this.
He has repeatedly asked that thing, but he should not be banned for what he did in the past.
Also, I'm really sure the decision wasn't takes just because of that particular individual.
To be honest, I hope cell9 doesn't change his mind. This is a lesson to be learned

he's been suspended a lot of times and has done nothing but bother the community. this is what he deserved
He did much more than that, trust me. He just flooded every kind of service cell9 used (Github, his bug tracker, his Twitter account) asking for him to open-source the code. While it's outside our power to stop him from harassing cell9 on those sites, you'll be glad to know that we don't allow members with such antisocial behaviour to stay in this community.
If cell9 wants to go back to work on NTR's, that's up to him. We've done our part.
BTW, I'd like to remember that discussing of a certain individual being banned or not is actually off-topic and I'll start removing posts pertaining to that after this point.

You guys need to be mad at @cell9. He's the one that threw a fit and is calling it quits because of some people bugging him about source. He wasn't blackmailed, he's just dramatic and wants to push around what influence he has on the scene. "Oh, I don't like what you're asking, now I'm not going to contribute and everyone will hate you". This is nothing new, though he is one of few remaining devs here that still does this. This behavior never lasts because it's self destructive, you can only quit so many times.
Margen67 may have gone overboard, that's his personality, but many people here have said the same thing. They prefer open source and have trust issues with code they can't review. If you disagree with margen, then report him and go about your day, don't feed the drama. If you prefer open source, just dont use cell9's stuff. Simple shit people.
