Do games need to be on the SD card or may I load them up on a USB/ExHDD?
Thanks in advance.
I believe I read that it has to be on the SD Card for the time being. The Kernel exploit does not have access to the USB Ports in the Wii U

I don't think the meta and icon files are important, probably just makes the app look nicer in Homebrew Loader.

Did you format your SD Card with 64k cluster size? I've heard this can help loading. Sometimes games need to be adjusted extra to help load, for example The Wonderful 101 and Star Fox use re-built files to speed up loading. I'm not sure about Super Mario 3D World. I would try the 64k cluster size thing if you haven't already. GUIFormatter can do this for you.

Okay thank you once again. By Cluster Size, is that the same thing as Allocation Unit Size? That's the only option I saw available on the FAT32 Format tool I used when formatting my SD Card. (I have a 128GB SDXC which does not allow FAT32 formatting normally, had to use a special tool). If not, could you please link me to this GUIFormatter? I Googled it but didn't see any programs by that name.

Whoops, had the wrong name there, sorry! It is actually called GUIFormat, not formatter... :P

Yes, Allocation Size, in GUIFormat it would be: 65536.

Which size did you pick on last format?

Also remember, due to the nature of Loadiine, sometimes some games will just be slow. :(

Due to the nature of only being at kernel exploit level, it does not have access to USB, we will need further ISOU hack for this. Loadiine for the time being will only work loading from SD Card.

Ah! That's the tool I used to format the card to FAT32! I just used the default allocation size which was set to 32768. I wasn't sure what it meant so I left its default setting. I am now formatting it with the new allocation size and will let you know if it makes a difference! Thanks again for all your help. Also, I completely understand that sometimes games just run a bit slower...but I honestly can't complain. I am just grateful it is able to run successfully, which is thanks to you.

Im getting a "FSGetMountSource failed." error when trying to load the homebrew launcher throught : http://loadiine.ovh/.
Worked the first time, but every time after that i've gotten that error.

**EDIT**
For some reason both of my 32gb SDHC cards are giving me that error, but my 2gb SD formatted at fat16 works flawlessly :/ go figure.

Is there any way to self host this on a NAS drive? That's how I had it set up for 5.3.2 but I don't think I can get my NAS drive to run Java.

Now I just need to figure out where to enter the codes from the "post codes here" thread in this program you used on the PC. Is there a specific spot?

Did you start the exploit with the gamepad? This error only appears to me when I start the exploit with the Wii remote but no gamepad at all.I don't know if that is a solution.

I've made a tutorial for TCPGecko. It doesn't require servers, compiling, or anything even moderately difficult.

(Wait for 1080p process)

---LINKS & DOWNLOADS---
WNetWatcher: http://bit.ly/1WdWCQC
TCPGecko (Compiled): http://bit.ly/24ziWJF
Loadiine.ovh (For Wii U): http://loadiine.ovh/

Enjoy :)

Hmm...it seems I am unable to connect to the Gecko dNet (or JGecko U) when attempting to use a game through loadiine. I have yet to attempt to connect with a disk game, but so far this is what I've done:
a) Used loadiine.ovh and loaded up the "Kernel and TCP Gecko 5.5.X"
b) Re-entered the browser to load TCP Gecko, says it loaded successfully.
c) enter the browser a third time and load up Kernel10 which works successfully.
d) enter the browser again and use http://192.168.X.X/hax?loadiine to launch loadiine. It works and I am able to begin my game.

It is while the game is loaded that I try to connect to Gecko dNet and it doesn't appear to be working. I do have the correct IP Address for the Wii U, had it listed in my Router. Am I doing something wrong?

Edit: I tried in a disk game as well, Gecko dNet seems to connect fine, however JGecko U is giving a huge list of errors after entering the Game Name and game ID. I updated the game titles but still it isn't finding it automatically and when manually entered, its errors which then freezes my game.

when it says SD card i remember on the original wii when hacking it, u could only use a normal SD card and not a SDHC card, is it same here? or do SDHC work? cos i lost my sd card and need to grab a new one so wanna know what works ^^

edit there is also a SDXC do that work aswell? since they have space up to 64gig i would be able to add alot of games to that one hehe. :)

In the loaddine thread they mention that cards up to 256Gb are supported, SDXC starts at 64Gb so yes, sdxc should work and they currently offer sizes up to 500Gb afaik, the sdxc specification is specified up to 2Tb iirc.
