Gaming Ok so I have a really big question for Nintendo

Y U NO GET US MOTHER 3 FOR 3DS.
I understand that programming takes a lot but they could at least try to make a remastered version of the mother series. After some thought on Mother 4 I thought about mother 3 because mother 3 looks like shit compared to the video footage of Mother 4. I honestly thing that they wouldn't do this for Mother 3 I hope that the mother 4 actually asks for help instead of being a loner. Its been 3 years since devolpment has started if they proposed this to Nintendo imagine how big it would be for mother 4 to be on the Wii U for like 3$ due to it being a fangame.

Nintendo hardly cares about Mother/EarthBound. It's not one of their big series.

Because Mother/EarthBound is nowhere near as big as Pokemon. Mother/EarthBound doesn't get millions and millions of sales.

gpSP and mGBA exist for the 3DS. They're far better than the crappy VC wrappers (or AGB_FIRM in this case) that Nintendo puts out, anyway. As for Mother 4, Nintendo will probably never even acknowledge it. If they do, they'll probably have it taken down. So it's best if they don't acknowledge it.

You do have a point tho but if its not so big then why did they put two earthbound characters into smash wouldn't that be useless to have them in there if they were not popular at all?

Mother is big in Japan. Also, Ness is still included as all Smash 64 characters are always kept between games. If not, Captain Falcon and Jigglypuff wouldn't be there either.

Nintendo tends to be very paranoid about copyrights and they generally go against fan content all together.

Hmm it makes me wounder why they even brought Ness over to smash 64 he wasnt that popular in America until they released the english copy...

For example I had no idea where captain flacon came from but they made a stage and even gave a demo of his game in the wii version but not even a fracction of the game at all so it makes Earthbound characters look useless, Make lucas look like a crying baby who abandons everybody, and Ness a character who can't save space and time or defeat anybody with a meer matter of seconds

The game's made in Japan, has a lot of Japan fans, and it is completely reasonable they include content from a series that's popular in Japan but not in the west.
