Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

Where did you get Luma3DS 3.5 from? I don't see it on the github page.

Guys is there a DS flashcart that has a "like perfect fit" in the 3ds because my r4ids from 4ids.cn sometimes does not want to come out lol it would be awesome if I could have a 3ds like case for it but I dunno[emoji14]I don't wanna apply pressure to the flashcart slot.

I explained in my post, it was from Luma Updater v1.1.2. Meant 5.3 to 5.4, sorry.

Hey you said if ever I thought of something to update in your updater then to let you know. Well would it be possible to should the current version of luma you have and the current most recent stable version? I know it's a pretty useless feature but hey :grog:

That's actually already on my plan to implement list, I hope to release it in version 1.2.0 which should be this weekend

I think it should give beta and stable options, and as long as the version numbers are the same, be able to upgrade back and forth between the one that works better.

Something like:

Luma3DS v5.3 Installed.

Update to v5.4 beta <==
Update to v5.4 stable

Thank you, that worked. Fixed both 2DSes. For some reason Decrypt9 won't launch from the homebrew menu cia i installed in either Luma 9.2U Emunand or Luma 10.7 Sysnand, so thank you for the fix. :yay3ds:

I make menus for my MediCat DVD, and I like things as simple and clear as possible. So simple menus is kinda my thing, lol. I think a lot of devs forget that when they make convoluted things like SaveDataFiler, which looks complicated as all hell for a noobie to the scene like me.

Use the pathchanger if your using bootanimation or crtbootmanager

This can happen, sure. DSTwos are one of the most notorious offenders because of that extra CPU. It fits, but can be a little snug on many DS/3DS units.

Apart from Sky+GW, is there any flash carts which have the 3ds cartridge "cover" (not sure how to word it?) I'm only familiar with R4s, not really other flash carts of my knowledge. Thanks!

I have one dstwo too. And it gets stuck sometimes lol maybe thats the way its gonna be!
