They should. Having a kernel exploit on 5.5.x more or less puts you on the same level as 5.3.2.

And it works for people. This is a method not using HaxServer.
For everyone having an error when trying to load /hax?...
I think I found the issue. It seems like the jar is missing the 5.5.1 EUR useragent. It's there for USA, so people with a USA console on 5.5.1 should not be having this issue.
I'll see if I can whip up a fix.
Great! thanks for the response, one other question, does this enable the use of Wii U ISOs? That would be very useful.None. Its a browser entry point, it doesn't touch your NAND or any sensitive part. You'd need IOSU for that and this is a kernel exploit, not IOSU.

As said by The Real Jdbye, the UserAgent of the european version is not recognized.
I used the exploit providen by ikarius031, at the quoted link mixed whit this post tutorial.
1-Web server grabbed from : http://rhcafe.us.to/kexploit_setup.zip
2 -Then you need a .bin, grab it from: http://www.mediafire.com/download/6jqfane80fqkavy/AtLongLast.zip . Get kexploit10.bin or kexploit31.bin depending of what you need.
3 - Rename the chosen kexploitXX.bin to code550.bin and drop in the web server root.
4 - Into WiiU web browser go to 192.168.X.X/blarg.php
5. Exploit should load and got you into WiiU menu.
6. Go back to WiiU Web Browser and go to http://www.wj44.ml/kexamples.html , choose LoadiineGX2SDBetav0.2(A backup loader for WiiU).
I believe I fixed the error people were getting.
I also fixed a couple bugs, and may have introduced new ones. You can now also place an index.html inside the data directory if you want to have an index page with links to all the payloads.
