Not the late release, just Zelda u. Though this will spoil everything for potential nx users and if Zelda u can end up like zero with forced gimmick that ruin the game or relatively short length.
Zelda U on the nx still felt traitorous for me. Nintendo end up betraying everyone who purchased wii u by releasing a bunch of terrible titles that replace essential gameplay with Amiibo during the second half of wii u's lifespan.
Late release for the nx was a very smart move though. And it gives some time to counteract ps4k and xbox one+(?).
The prez of Nintendo said this machine is gonna stay for a very long time... $700 is custom gaming pc price. (Nintendo pc-ish console counterpart to Handheld?)
Cartridges slowed nintendo in the 90's (lasted with handhelds), Tiny disks limited Nintendo to the amount of data a nintendo Gamecube game could be (1.37GB). Hd limited the wii after 2009 and a whole bevy of things led to wiius financial failures.
Amd's most popular cpu lasted since 2012 and still going strong, I suspect it will have a higher end cpu because of that but gaming is generally more based from the graphics card. Tough to say what the rest is, possibly a higher end steam/vc machine with ability to play Zelda wiiu on NX and not Zelda NX per say and ditching the handheld scene would be TRAGIC for them and fans.(unless they try to 'reset' games onto mobile)

But now nand is again faster than blueray. Media is still mostly to do with GPU, cpu is only critical for holding background info.
Do you know amd's upcoming zen? It is faster than haswell in single core, and more energy efficient with very good apu options. Waiting for zen apu is possibly the only choice for nx right now or it will be outspeced hard this time. And without proper libraries to back it up, it is really doomed.
And most custom pc at ps4's level still won't be competing at $700.

It can actually be released earlier/later than march which is cool but it could be a bad thing too if the specs arent even on par with xb/ps. Sony failed the PlayStation brand when they started focusing more on sales and releasing last-gen games as "remasters" than publishing actual new games for the customers to buy. At this point I don't even expect to ever see a new MotorStorm game ever again because they terminated the development team who developed the MotorStorm games.
Eh, no. Plus, you know how Ninty fanboys are; if they could suck Reggie's, Trinen, Miyamoto, Shibata or Kimishima's pecker you can bet that they would 'cause they're like gods to them.
I'm perfectly happy with Zelda 2017 being released on two platforms than only one so more people get to enjoy the latest Zelda game.
I was just saying that if Nintendo cannot get software right (hopefully they understand why everyone is so pissed about E3 2015), then ps4k is most likely to have the lead.
I used to be like that but right now I would keep an eye-socket out. Perhaps Nintendo deserve a second chance.
So remastering Zelda u on the nx at launch was a bad idea?

It's more of a revised version like TPWii was. Fingers crossed Zelda 2017 isn't mirrored on NX like TPWii was.
Yea nintendo keeps trying to reset the games for the child market and in turn arent appealing for anyone else

the solution is quite simple they need to release A LOT of those games annually and continue to improve and raise the difficulty

how many great mario parties for 64? gc? etc

They wont waste any money on there patents Im assuming its all for the NX, so they dont get sued big like they did for the 3ds 3d feature

Nintendo seems to *NEVER* make their deadlines.

No NX for Christmas ? What a fail.
I think they did the same thing with the WiiU.
Its because iwata spilled the beans on the NX at e3 2015? and everyone was so done with the wiiu that they wanted it really bad, but everyone assumed it was coming in 2016 because of the assumption zelda was a simul-release. But amd did state one system was coming in 2017. The reason for all the hype is because people strongly believe it will finally surpass both microsoft/sony for once
No console wants to launch after Christmas. Especially a Nintendo console that is more kid-oriented than XB1 PS4. Kids need their console for Christmas.
No Christmas release is another huge fuck up.
I stated before that nintendo was going to try to skip having to put this thing on sale because it might be THAT good, (high end gaming pc specs)(ps4 is equal to low/mid pc specs)

What he said. Kimishima has stated that they won't be selling the NX at a loss this time around, and a Christmas sale 3 days after launch wouldn't exactly help that
