Another case of DRM backfiring and hurting legit users
and people are still defending it...
Honestly, I support it in this case because in my mind it's still better than the developer being robbed of hard earned money (and in this case it balances out anyway, because a week is literally nothing to wait for in the grand scheme of things). I see the Patreon donations as just that; donations, with the benefit of getting builds early. Those who actually care about donating shouldn't necessarily care about DRM causing issues, and those who do are prime examples of why the DRM needs to be there in the first place.

Nanny McPhee: There is something you should understand about the way I work. When you need me but do not want me, then I must stay. When you want me but no longer need me, then I have to go. It's rather sad, really, but there it is.
[Nanny McPhee turns around to walk out of the room, but stops once she hears Simon]
Simon Brown: We will never want you!
Nanny McPhee: Then I will never go.

Anyway, It's very sad that a lot of development are taking to "improve the DRM"
Emulator had been delayed for more than a week and no substantial progress was take this time, compared with the last releases
I did not think that the patreon ultimatelly would result in counter-productive measures such spend development time and resource in DRM :(
I feel sorry to support patreon idea in the past :(

The ones that support the emulator shouldn't have problems with the DRM
I hope Exzap fix this problems

I disagree, DRM in its current state ruins user experience and the reason why they donated was to get the best out of Cemu. Sure we could have leaks and such without it but honestly the pstreon amount has been doing nothing but increasing. I prefer a build where it stored your patron credentials in a file, where users wouldn't want to upload it.

Was better the time when people said: I hope that some game can be emulated soon. Go on Exzap, you're doing a nice work!
And not: Well, please take some time that not been spend to improve the emulator itself to fix this shit DRM that is causing troubles :(

I think the problem with the verification comes from disconnect internet with the emulator running, maybe the server though that my build was pirate.
Now the verification fail sometimes.

We know, can temporarily happen. Working on a fix.

We got it. You hate DRM. Can you please stop spamming now? All you have to do is wait one week and you get a DRM free version.

Instead of you complaining I would like to hear what alternative method would you suggest so that we can protect the interest of our Patrons? Good faith in the community has proven not to work.
It's very simple and if you read all the comments you already know how...
Simple, spend the time developing the EMULATOR itself, certainly that's the major interest of all the Patrons which support the project (or I'm wrong?)
Rather than spending development time and resources to do these shit DRM-Systems which ultimately harm Cemu own Patrons (as you can see in various cases on this topic)
Looking deeply, everyone which donates to project wants to SUPPORT the development above all things (and even the people, which not donates, but help the project in other ways, such publicizing, helping other users, testing, etc.)
I really want to think that's not about "get the thing 1 week before" for the people which is donating, because.. Well, it's just one week, that doesn't hurt...
But when you put efforts in DRM system, you're hurting everybody which wants to support you, because you're not developing the emulator, you're just causing troubles
Remember that you're not doing this just for "passion" or something. You're even being well PAID to do this work
Also, it's easy to give the guilty to the users, but you very well successful patron tell that you're complaining wrong about all these "leak problems"
Even with the leaks you're well paid, you really have to sacrifice Patrons usability?
What will came after? Cemu is a paid emulator only?
