sorry, dumb question, just trying to find a way to access it on a 10.7 system without buying OoT/whatever
heard of SVCHax/Memchunkhax, but all info about it is eluding me at the moment

Sorry mate, you don't have the choice. Memchunkhax and SVCHax are just names of an ARM11 kernel flaw (= it allows us to downgrade to an older firmware, 9.2).
The only entrypoints (= "flaws" to launch homebrews) on 10.7 are Ninjhax (Cubic Ninja), OOT3DHax (Zelda OOT), Supermysterychunkhax (Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon).
You will need one of those games. The only entrypoint that can be installed without any other hardware while being on 10.7 is Ninjhax. For OOT3DHax or Supermysterychunkhax, you will need a 3DS that is able to launch homebrew. In fact, a 3DS with a system version under 10.5 is able to do that because there is an entrypoint that uses the web browser (browserhax, it was patched with 10.6 firmware release). If you can't launch homebrew, you can also buy a powersave to inject the savegame directly into the game and then just launch it.

There is no free way at the moment, sorry. (and it may be the case for a long time, we don't know)

Thanks for making this, it's incredibly useful.

I think I noticed a minor bug though. When backing up saves using multi-select, the saves are named as <year><day><month> which puts them out of order when sorting by filename. Wouldn't <year><month><day> be better?

Has anyone successfully used this on 999 Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward?

I keep getting the "error opening save archive" and "cannot open extData" no matter what I try.

Have you two made a save in the games you are trying to export? That is the error it norm throws when there is no save to extract.

How do I know for sure that I have done this?

I have saved in-game of Zero Escape, but I assume you mean something else. Is there an external manner of saving I'm missing?

Is it possible to backup/restore a save for GBA VC games using JK Save Manager?

Just iffy about playing FF6 on VC because I'm not sure what'll happen to my save file one day. Feels so insecure!

I CAN play it fullspeed on GPSP, but that emulator has random crashing issues that Im not about to take chances with :c

If only there were a GBA translation patch for the SNES version.

No but you can use agbsave9 for that. Are you using a9lh or menuhax + emunand?
