read the full nvidia shield review and tell me it doesn't sound EERILY similar to what speculations of the nx will somewhat be

Alright, here's my idea! 
A highly social, scale-able system that uses a sort of docking architecture. The base system will have core functionality, play games, show up on a full tv screen, etc and have some features unique to it such as playing blu-ray discs and backwards compatibility with Wii & Wii U, as well as a 3DS cartridge slot for playing 3DS games (NO DS compatibility, though..sadly!)
That forms only the skeleton of the machine, however.
The main console will also act as sort of wi-fi router that will only connect to the portable units. Using this special connection, you can wirelessly connect from 1-16 of the portable units. Once connected, profile data will be synced between all the devices (each person who uses the system will have their own unique profile). If you own a license to a game on either the main console or the portable, those will be synced, as well, so you can play the game on either device. Any player who doesn't own a license for the game may obtain a sort of "guest pass" that allows them access to the games on the system while connected to the special network. Since your profile is carried on the portable device, you may transfer your licenses from your own system to someone else's system, though it is all highly encrypted so only you can access the data by using your portable device, which acts as the decryption key for your profile.
On top of all that, the main console functions as a cloud device, as well, being always on and connected through your wi-fi network so that any time you have internet access on your portable device, you can access (albeit in a somewhat limited fashion) all of the data and games from your base console at home.
For the social aspect, any device that's been registered with the home console will become part of a personal, full-featured social network that lets you and anyone else send messages, post pictures or videos taken using the portable device...all that good stuff!
There will, of course, be multiple levels to the NX Web. There would be the devices registered to your base unit, you could share a friend code to create an expanded friend network, plus the local, national, and worldwide networks. Each tier can be enabled or disabled and filtered so that only the people you want to talk to/share with can access your content and vice versa. The entire network would run on a P2P structure so that it can continue to live on, even when Nintendo decides to stop supporting it (Yeah, I'm looking at YOU DS internet functionality!)

thats basically the patent and its kinda how i think itll function too. but i dont know about the social media thing because there are kids and there are pedophiles too. nintendo is using miitomo to try to figure out a way of incorporating your/their? ideas tho too
Well, there'll be parental controls so you can enable/disable each layer of the social network such as "off", "local devices only", etc. so that young kids won't have access to the pedophiles unless their parents want them to

if it makes no sense about the login concept, think miitomo snd what mynintendo is doing...
Nintendo isnt sure if they have a machine on par with sony and microsofts new machines, its why theyre holding back at e3. They most likely have a machine using the same achitecture and can easily be upgradable with newer parts. They watch sony/ms and then as soon as they find out the specs and price point they order better specs and give a better price and immediately start production in july...
Yea, no way zelda will be on par with a 2015 game like the witcher, nintendos dev teams are tiny compared to other game companies. UNLESS they had second party help

intially i thought releasing it in march was a bad idea. Now after some thought,,,
NINTENDO POTENTIALLY HAS THIS GEN AT THE BALLS...Potential GEN8 killer!
If it comes with legit gen 9/high pc gaming specs it would leave XB/PS in the dust and potential last a good 6 years... The price point could go up to $500 no problem.

They had it all with e3 2014, then they screw it up bad.
Zelda's engine has much better collision detection than other games. And Zelda still have superior puzzles.

I just hope that Ninty quits with those stupid gimmicky controllers and sticks to releasing a proper traditional controller. That's all everyone wants, well, gamers, that is!
I assure you there is nothing more comfortable than the gamepad. It just need bigger battery, its own cpu, better resolution, and non-essential secondary screen.
No. Off-screen for wind waker was amazing that I give up using my giant tv.
nintendo supposedly reserved massive floor space for E3 most like for the NX but possibly cancelled because of suddenness of the ps4/xb1.5. I know they said the only game "playable" was Zelda but that doesnt mean they its the only game there. Theyre prolly gonna display the last two wiiu games and maybe pokemon.
They dont have to show the NX itslef or announced media capabilities or specs but they can certainly reveal its true name, unless the name gives away its never before seen feature. They can also show the AWESOME games in development, much like they did with zelda wiiu in 2013? (not the stupid zelda tech demo that the system could absolutely not play a game of that caliber)
