Cant seem to follow the instructions to getting TCPGecko to work, mainly want pyGecko for the Xenoblade Trainer.
Do these hacks not work if you dont have Disc/Smash?
I dont have Smash so all I use to play is Mii Maker mode..

EDIT: Just noticed theres a pyGecko folder in the DefPackage, how do I use it? if my above question's answer is "yes mii maker works, heres how..."
Open the index.html in the main DefintitivePackage folder and change the directory from the tcpgecko folder to the pygecko folder.

pygecko = cheats with Loadiine
tcpgecko = FSA read for extracting files

Is it already set to pygecko? is that normal (havent touched DefPack, have the Loadiine GX v1.0 revision)
EDIT: should I do ...
AIO Kernel > Press B > Install Loadiine > Browser > run TCPGecko(pygecko) > Mii Maker > game ?

Ah, yes it is lol. I forget the order you have to do it in, I just found and quoted it like last week to someone... I think it's Loadiine, return to home, run pyGecko, and then go back into MiiMaker and launch the game?

Beginning to think pyGecko doesnt work with GX2, I do
Press B Loadiine Kernel > Browser > TCPGecko(py) > Browser > Loadiine 4.0(gx2) > enter game, game runs, but the trainer cant connect to the WiiU, just keeps "Timed Out"

So I found a Wii U with Firmware 1.0.1. I wanna update with Mario Party 10 EUR Version. Is it safe, or is there a 5.4 version of the game?

Pretty sure they do the same thing, but what about running GX2 the first time to load the Kernel Exploit instead of running the AIO and pressing B for Kernel Exploit? You can also try switching that from the pygecko to tcpgecko folder just to see if it makes a difference for the trainer.

i have Wii U region japan
FW 5.2.0
whether support loadiine ?
and what game titles for updates to 5.3.2?
From the GX2 thread:
Loadiine GX2 is currently compatible with
WiiU v5.3.2
WiiU v5.4.0

Games to update to 5.3.2 can be found in the OP.

All 5.3.2 games and reprints known to exist are in the OP. None have 5.4.0 to my knowledge, and I figure if there was someone would have cried about it here lol.

I just changed routers and can't figure out the website filtering.

A. Block by URL Filtering in your router settings
  • nus.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
  • nus.cdn.c.shop.nintendowifi.net
  • nus.cdn.shop.wii.com
  • nus.cdn.wup.shop.nintendo.net
  • nus.wup.shop.nintendo.net
  • c.shop.nintendowifi.net
  • cbvc.cdn.nintendo.net
  • cbvc.nintendo.net
B. Block your Wii U's MAC Address in your router settings
1. Go to Wii U Menu/System Settings/Internet/View MAC Address
2. Type the string you see into your MAC address filter (Ex: b8-ae-4e-48-36-fe)

I have a Belkin, and under website filtering I am only given 4 options that are controlled by clicking a radial dot

Block Malicious, Adult and other non-family friendly sites
Blocks malware, phishing, and scam sites and also sites that contain sexually explicit material, mature content, abortion, alcohol, tobacco, crime, cult, drugs, gambling, hate, suicide or violence

Block malicious and adult sites
Blocks malware, phishing, scam sites and sites that contain sexually explicit content

Block malicious sites
Blocks malware, phishing and scam sites

No Filters
(null)

I have gone to Belkins site to find a solution and they have a nice video on how to set up URL filtering, which leads to selecting one of the options above.

What!? is that a new feature of GX2 I didnt know? you can boot it without needing run the AIO Kernel first?!
Unless you meant, Browser > Kernel > Choose Normal > ..uhh > pyGecko? > Browser > Kernel > Choose Loadiine > Browser > Loadiine GX2... ?

IMHO, I think the Tubehax DNS is perfectly fine....but then again I host the exploit locally so have no reason to allow WiiU to connect to the Internet. I just blocked it Internet access, but allowed it LAN/Network access.
I'm still able to connect to the exploit hosted sites with Tubehax DNS and allowing Internet(need to enable the WiiU internet first). Only prompt you need to be ready for are, choosing Ok when it says it found an Update, and then Cancel when it asks "Would you like to update now" << these two prompts comes right after "Signing In..." part.

Yes, it's built into GX2 now (but theoretically it's the same thing) :)

Well damn, why isnt that mentioned in giant bold letters! that skips an entire annoying step! xD going to test. Browser > Loadiine > enter game, exit? > Browser > tcpGecko > Mii Maker > Game

Either way you're running an app before running Loadiine GX2. Saves you a button press, I suppose! Yeah that should work. You might not even need to enter a game from the Game Select screen the first time, idk. And maybe the problem is GX2 with pyGecko. Might need to be fixed. If that's the case, don't get your hopes up for TCP Gecko either.

@fiveighteen I was under Parental Controls. It is almost like they removed the option to block specific webpages
Ah, that's dumb. Companies trying to be more generic and user friendly. They could at least have a separate view for "advanced users".. :glare:

I'm beginning to think this might be a Win10 issue, keep finding more and more reasons to regret this update. Windows 10 LOOKS pretty, but functions like a mac, so many restrictions and dumbed down features going, I cant tell what or how to fix anything when these vague "Oh Oh something went wrong, click here for details, *click* App stopped working." thats it. no further info, no error code...completely treating me like Im an idiot a.k.a Mac.

everything pinged and checking the WiiU IP comes back "timed out" but pinging any other IP comes back, Invalid. so everything knows theres something there on the WiiU IP, just cant communicate.
Just would someone on Win10 to confirm they got TCPGecko/pyGecko working.

I've noticed the same thing (Win10 should be nice etc.). I'm gonna install Win7 next to Win10 (and I recommend you do the same).

I'm on Win10 and got it to work in the past (Loadiine v3 I think).

You can try this? https://gbatemp.net/threads/download-pygecko-for-loadiine-by-golden45.399825/page-3#post-5775329

EDIT: I should have read more. They state in that thread that it has been broken on v4 (and GX2 is just a GUI for v4). Bummer.

Oh dam. really.
I actually just got TCPGecko to connect (Trainer went Green saying it connected) but my steps are as follows; WiiU > Browser > Loadiine> "Success Re-Launch GX2" > Browser > TCPGecko > Success > VVVV now, I feel like I'm doing something wrong right here, because when I test gecko connection, it WORKS! =O but hitting Mii Maker, just loads plain Mii Maker, not GX2...is there something Im missing, or is this the "broken" part mentioned about TCP and v4(GX2)

That's probably the broken part. Maybe it's in the same memory space so when it connects to Gecko it's overwriting what's supposed to be the game execution code.

@EclipseSin, did you work any magic on v4 yet?
