So I pressed A and it said it had failed. I exited and now when I go back into sysupdater it just hangs on a black screen? I can still reboot the console and access HBL.

Yes, I read just now that you can update via sysupdater only using the cia version of it, nvm. So at this point you have to place safesysupdater into "3ds" folder, delete all the content of the updates folder placed into the root of your sd and place here the contet of the 9.2 fw. This time everything will work fine.

Ok so it seems to have downgraded fine. I'm at the part where it is trying to reboot in 10 secs nad to power off the device if it fails to do so, which I think it has. I'll give it another minute and power off myself if its still there.

Yes, it always better wait maybe even 10 mins before decide to turn off manually the console.
Success! We have 9.2.0-20E on the console. I'm gonna take a short break and continue after that. RxTools is the next step you say? Once I get Menuhax back of course.

. Now you have just to follow the tutorial about setting up rxtools. It's extremely clear and complete. Remember that you want to install reinand before update your EMUNAND to 10.5.
I have rebooted, inserted SD Card and can now change the theme. Do I need to change theme to get rid of Themehax to be able to reinstall it again? Can I just select any theme?

Nvm, changed theme and now loads perfectly with SD Card inserted. Am I back to trying to reinstall Menuhax all over again?
Exactly. I like keep the default one (white) set into sysnand and a different one into emunand in order to recognize them. Also, into the folder called nintendo 3ds you shoud find 2 folders called with random letters and numbers. One of them it's from your previous nand and you should consider to delete it 'cause it's useless now.

EDiT: it's better wait and set up emunand before cause this process will format your sd. You should consider to use the gateway launcher in order to set up emunand. Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable

I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
