Hacking New3DS 4.2

Hello guys

I need your advice plz.

What should I do with a New3DS 4.2 in order to get an emunand
(launchable offline)
EDIT : Not a New3DS of course an old 3DS !!!

Should I update to 9.2 ? If yes how ?
I have a Gateway and Cubic Ninja game

You should call the press if you have a n3ds on 4.x only o3ds has 4.x

If you have GW just follow their tutorial on their site

Don't upgrade to 9.2. I dont understand why some people are getting crazy about the themehax autoboot feature. It unlinks systrm nand from emunand and makes playing gba games harder. The MSET exploit is better. Don't be lazy to just open the system settings app. Whats good is that luckily it can be installed even without a R4 card.

I prefer to have my gba / dsi on sysnand with pasta to avoid going over 300 Cia on emunand

MSET is easy to use and you can be use sysnand and emunand linked to play GBA games.

You just need to use GW to inject a Cia installer to sysnand. Then use mset to load pasta and use sys updater to 9.2. Once there you can setup menuhax

Why do you want to linked nands?

Do you want to use GW or cfw?

Just FYI, there is a way to use menuhax with linked NANDs, I don't have the link on hand but I read a post about it on this forum. Something about enabling theme shuffling on emuNAND while keeping menuhax on sysNAND IIRC.

Well as we stated earlier you could go up to 9.2 and use auto otherwise

Use the blue card to install mset. Add the latest GW launcher and boot to the menu. Make emunand and format the system nand. Run the blue card then enter mset with the red card inserted. Update through settings to 10.5 and profit.

That's a poor argument, you tell people not to be lazy, however you don't want to make the effort to install GBA games with an unlinked nand.

Personally I like that my 3DS boots in to my emunand and is ready to use. I dont have any GBA games installed, but if i did i'd make the effort and do it right.
