If you've installed said games from 'legit' cias you can re-install them in eShop on latests emunand FW e.g rxTools, and general stuff you've downloaded from the eShop id imagine it'd be able to re-downloaded onto it? If not, someone please correct me on that~

Well, can't say the CIA files were legit at all. :D Which is the case, kinda sucks that I cant play warez games along with original bought games from the shop/eshop if each requires diffwerent firmware version.

Yes, internet works fine.

I found this on reddit :
https://www.reddit.com/r/3DS/comments/3pccqh/anyone_have_experience_fixing_nnid_error_0222634/

"I went ahead and formatted, linked NNID, and restored NAND. It worked! My saves seem to be still there and I can access eshop on sysNAND!"

but not sure exactly which version of emunand he restored after he formatted it and added his NNID.

Edit :
Do we loose some file, game or nnid when we downgrade ?
That's probably the source of my problem. If i haven't to redownload pokébank, i should be ok.

i might restore the Nintendo3DS folder with a previous folder (before the downgrade), but the version might not match. i'm not sure since sysnand is in 3DS, not SD card.

Edit : I just formatted emunand, and i'm entering NNID. I hope bokebank account will come with it.

EDIT 2 : I'm finally done

I'm now able to access my pokémon pokébank account in emunand.
In fact I did what i didn't want to do : Link my NNID to my emuNand. I wanted to keep in on sysNand, but as i though to have NNID working on both sysNand and emuNand, it's maybe no possible.
Anyway, as long as i can link back NNID so sysNand in case of problem, i see no more issue here.

So, final question about the pokébank quest :
I currently have 249 days left on the licence (according to Nintendo FAQ, pokémon might disapear after a certain time when the licence is over).
What is the safest way to keep my pokémons :
1 - keep it on the bank for now since i can now access it, but if Nintendo find a way to block emuNand update a day, i'll be fucked
2 - get them all and store them to one of my pokemon retail cart. But if i loose my card or in case of save problem, i loose everything

(3 - I've heard of a pokebank homebrew. I don't know how it works, but if it copy them to the bank instead of transfering them, this might be the best solution)
(another way would simply to back up a pokémon save, if it works)

You can either backup your save using a save manager, OR get the PHBank(Pokebank for homebrew) :)

Hello. I've just set up reiNand on my N3DS and I'm currently in the emuNAND. I believe my SysNand and emuNAND are not linked as there are two folders in my microSD's "Nintendo 3DS" folder which look to be a jumbled mess of letters and numbers. I did this by reformatting my system without my microSD in it, so I think they're unlinked. Anyhow, I just wanted to be ABSOLUTELY SURE that I can; A.) Update my emuNAND (which currently says Rei 9.2.0-20U in the system menu) to 10.5 using the 3DS's normal updater as well as, B.) Do a system transfer from my O3DS after updating it from 10.4 to 10.5.

Will this break anything? Any safety precautions I need to take beforehand? I've already dumped my sysNAND and I think I've made sure that my sysNAND and emuNAND are unlinked, so am I safe to go ahead?

I was trying to downgrade a O3DS XL for my friend. It's on 10.1 but when I went to try to launch browserhax the stupid "update browser" message popped up. Is there any other way of getting Homebrew Launcher up and running? I figured OOT or Cubic Ninja were the only options at this point but I'm not an expert so I wasn't sure.

I apologize in advance, this is probably a very dumb question, but I'm really new the the whole 3ds hacking/homebrew scene. I've gotten homebrew to work on my old3dsxl through oot3dhax and played snes romhacks and whatnot, but I want to things a step further. I understand NAND is flash memory and stores specific firmware and other files/software (correct me here) but I don't quite understand the whole complexities of EmuNAND and exactly install(?) it onto an SD. Again, this is probably really trivial but I'm very curious in all this 3ds stuff. Much help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm just about as green as you are, but I recommend watching this tutorial.

Just watching the process helped me understand what an emuNAND is and how it functions. You'll likely end up with superficial knowledge at best, but you'll at least be well-versed in the process of setting up an emuNAND.

Emunand is basically clone of your NAND chip onto a separate partition on your SD card.

Okay, so I fixed my Health and Safety.(man, knowing to hold L during the RX tools load to bring up the menu sooner would have been nice.)

I injected FBI into sysnand H&S, and it loads just fine. Here is where my issue comes in. So, I load into rxMode on sysnand, load FBI, and try to install a GBA game onto emunand(SD), and I get an error of "Invalid databaseSave hash check failed". I read that issue comes with title.db and import.db, but I checked, and they're in both of my nand's folders.

So, halp pls!

Oh yeah, I meant to also ask why I need CtrBootManager. From what I can see, it's just a thing of convenience, but every tutorial seems to imply it's necessary.

Hello, is it possible to local wireless play/battle Pokemon given that the version/updates to the game do not match?

Furthermore, to my understanding, GW 3.7.1 does not support the latest release of 10.5.0-30. Does that mean I will not be able to update my games on eShop since game updates require the latest release?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it does, just search up some threads here.

Nevermind, I solved it. It seems using the Data Management in Sysnand doesn't kill your Emunand like I read. I used it, my Emunand is just fine, and fixed my title.db, and import.db, GBA game installed just fine, and works just fine.

How can I access the shop? Because it gives me an error always on my N3DSXL and 2DS??
But on my N3DS it is fine?
