When you have a version that is below the latest one (official FW), you will be prompted to upgrade every time you open the browser. So in your case, it's not an error or anything, you won't be able to use the browser until you upgrade. As far as I know, at least.

As said above, menuhax stops working randomly for no reason. I've set it up so many times for the L trigger (I'm trying the autoboot option this time) and at some point, I'll turn on my 3DS and it doesn't work. I go to settings, exit, doesn't work.
And here I am, having to go through browserhax again for the 20th time. Back when 10.3 happened it was np as browserhax was very stable, but now, fuck that shit.

i buy in second hand the console but i try to use the tubehax... so how i can workaround ?

Haha, autoboot is even better than L trigger resetting: it doesn't work at all.
Jesus christ, is it normal that menuhax doesn't work properly at all? I don't see anything related to the problems I'm having with it on Google or anywhere for that matter.

Whatever I put on my SD card, 1.2, 2.2, doesn't matter, menuhax doesn't work properly in the slightest.

Now that I've updated, I get a black screen every time I turn on my 3DS, and it doesn't go away until I remove the SD card. I asked nicely, you guys. Why didn't you answer me when I asked? Was it really that much of an imposition?

All right, fine. I'm just about ready to go straightedge with my 3DS anyway... the exploit/patch cat and mouse game is wearing thin. I can use my PC and Android devices for emulation if necessary.

You have to turn on your 3ds without the sd card,
then, insert the sd card back,
change the theme.

If you want to install menuhax 2.2 again, you will have to install it using browserhax or other entrypoint like oothax

EDIT: Browserhax worked; now I've got MenuHax back up and running. Thanks (again!) for the information!

(I'm guessing Nintendo will patch THAT over in a couple more days...)

Alright, I'm not sure if I'm even doing this right. I had OoT3DHax from a powersaves file I had, I updated my 3DS without updating the payload so now it doesn't work.

I'm trying to use browserhax but it is not working no matter what I try, like others I am getting the orange screen. I delete the webkit file from my SD card and I still get the blue screen. I'm going to keep trying and install OoT3DHax AND menuhax if I can, but if anyone knows other solutions please let me know.

Try deleting the webkit file on the root of your SD card and running browserhax with this url

It is safe to update. You miss out on everything with kernelhax, though.
