those look amazing. how much do you charge? I'm going to hardmod my 2ds on my own, because its worth little and very simple to disassemble. but i dont want to risk my pokemon n3ds when it arrives.
When you're redy contact me via PM. I don't want to turn this into a sales thread.
Those hardmods look sexy, any tut where I can learn how to do it, if is not much to ask.
Unfortunately, there is no real solid tutorial. Use the pinouts at 3Dbrew with the pinouuts of the SD card.

Can you also repair flex connectors on a N3DS XL?
They need to be replaced

Hehe, I broke my N3DS XL last July after I successfully modded it.

1st thing to break was the Left-side flex cable (L button) <- very fragile, and I knew that and was very careful, still I broke it

Getting mad doesn't help, especially when you realize you also fucked the zif connector by trying to lift the cover (there is no cover to lift, silly me)
So 2nd thing I noticed was my Home button no longer worked.

Getting madder certainly is dangerous. I ended up pulling off the top of the flex connector that makes the bottom screen work.

All this after I successfully hard modded it and was getting a good nand.bin on reading.

Anyways, now I'm wondering if I should just order that motherboard I saw on ebay for only $75, and use the procedure in this thread to make it work.
Any opinions?

Welp, nothing better than using your own opinion lol, so I went ahead and ordered a used US N3DS XL motherboard for $78.

Strategy is simple, I had 3 options:
1- Send it to some place in the US and get charged $150 minimum for the repair (only caveat is that it's too pricey and I'd have to bring it there myself and I can't do that before next summer).
2- Buy a cheaper board, unsolder the parts I need and do it myself (3DS stuff is tricky as it's so f*cking small, compared to PS3, 360 or Wii stuff).
3- Pay $78 and replace the whole motherboard. I could've waited for a better price down the road, but I wanted one with < 10.5 :ha:

Hopefully, I shall be victorious (if not, then I will have learned a nice lesson...)

I'm with a N3DS Bricked, tryied downgrade from 10.3 but put the O3DS cias. Now i'm trying a hardmod to try recover from the brick,
But i'm getting problems with my SD Card Reader, the thing doen'st show in my windows.

I've seeing that guy tryied, but i'll try to.

It does not work.

What cias where used as "firmoriginal" and "firmnuevo" when trying to fix the N3DS with O3DS files?

I think I have a problem. After patching the nand.bin I flashed it back into my 3DS but for some reason the Version in the System Settings is still 10.4.0-29U
Any ideas of what could have gone wrong? Thanks!

The version will not change, you are good to go for downgrade though.
