tried to update my spoof from 5.3.2 at 5.5.0 to 5.5.1 posted in the main thread and in homebrew discussion i cant even find this error anywhere and was hoping someone had a fix? please and thank you it is much appreciated

Edit: No matter what sd card or way i attempt to spoof it just wont work guess ill just try a game update even though spoffing to go online is my main concern...cant install game updates either. walking away from this its frsutrating when less than a month ago i was told to follow the same process but no amount of searching has fixed my issue...i hope no one else has this it has wasted almost a whole day of mine

"0xFFFCFFE9 - No SD card found" seems similar. You're able to see the SD card if you go into loadiine?

i do not use loadiine but i will try it, using a lexar 4gb from the 3dsxl a toshiba 2gb from the og3ds and micro sds with adapters
I've used loadiine quite a few times; its errors usually are much more human-readable like "SD card not found" if it can't read it. If you get a blank list then the WiiU can read the SD card just fine

I'm using this tool.

I don't believe it would change anything - but it's worth a try.

It was happening to me once.
Maybe it was a coincidence but it worked when I inserted the SD card only when after the kernel exploit was succesful.

idk its been awhile since i have used my wii u so i should have known that it wouldnt be easy at first. it seemed that how my sd cards were formatted made it worse all were used for emunand and using a partition manager wasnt helping i used the above sd card tool. so happy fucking finally i love my wii u but damn does it piss me off lol

It's easy to see if the SD is being recognized simply by entering Mii Maker and trying to save a Mii as a picture.

I guess some consoles have trouble recognizng the SD cards. Mine was like that but it seems to be better now.

You guys aren't going to believe me... but uhh. I've done it since the supercardSD for DS back in the day.

When an SD card can't read for some reason, like in my WiiU it has issues quite a bit with this, I take the SD card out and lick the connecting pins. Wipe it off on my shirt to dry it, then put it back in.

It works every damn time no matter how many times the SD card was failing to read. I did it in the Wii hacking days too.

haha, I'd rather clean the contact pins with alcohol or something. Licking it might accelerate oxidation.
