Im sure I read on here a week or two ago about someone selling 3DS set up with Homebrew/Emunand etc already set up and ready to go. Does anyone have any links to this? Curious.

Thanks

Yeah,Im toying with the idea of buying a second hand N3ds purely for Homebrew etc. I am having no luck with my one at present, cannot get the CIA installer to work at all as it constantly fails-I have tried everything! Would be much less hassle to just pay someone haha

im on 9.2

Not at home right now. Trying to install legit CIA file games and they are failing instantly. No idea wether I am doing something wrong somewhere or if my SD card layout may be wrong. Not home until 3 hours otherwise I would post a screenshot of my SD card.
Im using Reinand and menuhax.

The only thing that I can think of being the issue is that you don't have your title.db and import.db files on your SD card. Just insert your SD card into your computer, navigate to this directory: /Nintendo 3DS/(Random Numbers)/(Random Numbers)/, and there should be a folder called dbs, if not, make one. Then go ahead and make two files, one named title.db and one named import.db. Safely eject your SD card and inset it into your 3DS, and in your emuNAND, go to your Data Management Settings - Nintendo 3DS - Software, then it should say that your title management infonis corrupted, just hit OK. You should be good to go with installing CIAs on your emuNAND. I recommend you do this for both Random number folders in case you don't know what folder is what NAND.

Im pretty sure there is a folder called that with those two files inside it...hmm.Will have to look when I get home. I'll have a look and report my findings!

My point is you can get most things set up with brand new 3ds on the market and a few extra tools, which might be completely free. Should not most people in the section knows the process?

Yes, but there are people that doesn't want to go through all that trouble and risk bricking it. Most people rather want things fast, plug in and go. Thus, the we have sky3ds+ and fast food.

Like this

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Make new blank 0 byte files with the same names.
Edit: Remember to go into data management on your emuNAND afterwards to let it regenerate the files.
i think i did it right-what do i do once i enter Data Management?
