Considering I'm not done with the translation, please don't distribute incomplete CIA or 3DS builds. Just direct people to this thread if they want to give it a try before it's done.
Edit: Plus I really don't want to get on Nintendo's bad side by being responsible for any piracy as a result of this work so if you could refrain from distributing any 3DS/CIA files that would be best. I'm only releasing patches in order to ensure people acquire the game themselves.

Version 8 7 is live. All tutorials before Sky world are complete. There are other things changed here and there but this was mainly a tutorial pass. Next version will have the rest of the games/descriptions/tutorials from Sky world.

Any chance of a version that keeps the original title logo/banner? I'm not at all keen on the replacements I've seen - and the original J-logo is a thing of beauty 
I started a Picross 3D 2 translation some time ago, but it is far away to call it ready. My English is not very good. Most of the translated parts are google-translated, so longer sentences are making no sense. The game is not compatible with HANS, cia rebuilding is needed. A native english speaker would be better for this job.

If you have a file with all the strings and perhaps a place I can find them in the game, I can fix the strings up for you if you want. I don't speak Japanese natively, but I wouldn't mind helping with proofreading and some minor translations.

I just haven't gotten around to them yet. My focus has been the main games first, then I'll go do bonus material, then the story line.
Yes, I update the Progress section when I upload a new version. It's a rough progress report, so there may be things I've done that I didn't write down.

Once all is said and done I can create a 2nd patch that will put the Japanese banner back

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1
