maybe your usb adapter has no value for rumble, considering the ps2 controller isnt a pure hid controller an usb adpter must make the conversion so its ini file might not have rumble?

I know i own 2 ps3 controllers but both of them are six Axis so they dont rumble at all.
Still it's perfectly vibrates on ps3 itself, using very same adapter... Well, guess just gonna live with that.
And btw, any plans on making native Nintendont on WiiU, running actually under iosu but not in vWii, just like wiiware, so wiiu gamepad finally reveals it's potential? I know this is a rough one, so I'm just curious if it's even possible.

Impossible, how can you make native when there is no ports or slots? lol native means its direct GC controller code to the game, the wiiuGC adapter does not send GC controller code, it sends hid signals since the porpose of the adapter is to turn gc controller code into hid stuff sp yeah its impossible unless you made some advanced as hell hardware mode and soldered in the GC ports to vwii or something lol.

He's talking about porting Nintendont to WiiU mode.

The Wii Classic Controller Pro does not use a controller.ini. Only USB HID devices like the PS4 controller do. It should be possible to modify the .ini file for the PS4 controller.

Sorry for the dumb question, but Nintendont is compatible with WiiU 5.5.1 firmware right?
Yes as Nintendo hasn't updated vWii in quite some time.

Last time vWii was updated was when 5.2.0 came out and it didn't patch any exploits that we use to install the Homebrew Channel.

So I know that for a while we've been telling people off for suggesting pieces of Dolphin code because "Nintendont is an interpreter and Dolphin is an emulator" yadda yadda yadda, but I found something that's actually kind of interesting. In their January Progress Report, it was mentioned that there was an issue in their controller code that affected a bunch of games because it was polling for controller input at the wrong part of the frame. One of the affected games mentioned was Super Smash Bros. Melee, and my mind instantly went to all the people who complained that there was slight input lag with HID controllers. Would this particular fix be of any use for Nintendont?

I could be wrong but I think Nintendont polls the controllers when the game calls the GC function to do so.

That didnt work at all just froze my wii and crashed

Try making sure they're all lower-case. Also, if you haven't already make sure both discs are good. You can use the tool in my sig if you don't have anything to do that with.

Check your hard drive or SD card to be correctly formatted to fat32 with 32Kb cluster for the HDD and you can use 64kb cluster for the SD card. Check it is primary and active.

Also check the size of both iso. Use 1:1 ISO they are better and never fail. If that doesn't work I don't know what the issue might be.

Hey guys just got done softmodding vWii but am having two issues with Nintendont.

1. My DS3 has no rumble but on my Wii it does. Same controller, same cable. On Wii U its connected via the front/bottom port.
2. The games are forced 4:3. I have tueidj's aspect fixer for the HBC which also fixes other homebrew. I'm using CFG Loader 70r78.8 with widescreen and force NTSC 480p enabled (also enabled these in Nintedont's menu too + Force Wii U fullscreen) and still all games are in 4:3.

On the plus side the games look amazing through HDMI so thanks to all involved in the development of this awesome app.

That's what I initially thought too, but then I realized that the emulated GameCube controller code may not necessarily behave like Native Controls mode (especially due to the fact that people seem to concede that Native Controls works perfectly with Melee, but anything else makes it unbearable to play for tournament-trained gamers)

All lowercased and disc iso downloads came from Emuparadise.me

1-vwii doesnt output enough power from a single usb port for rumble, thats why even the offcial wiiu gc adapter needs 2 usb ports so yeah if you have a dualshock 3 you need some sort of Y cable.

2-Im guessing cfg loader isnt toogling the wiiu widescreen option., use nintendont directly from the homwbrew channel and toogle wiiu widescreen on if it works full screen its cfg loader fault, also make sure your using the latest nintendont which is version 386.

post all your nintendont settings you probably have one active that breaks disc changes.

Anything else you want to explain: I am perhaps the dumbest person to make a post here so I am very sorry if anyone else has already made a post here.

I originally was trying my hardest to run GC games on my laptop with Dolphin but I realized my 500 dollar Walmart HP Pavilion 17 with AMD Hyperthreaded Quadcore is absolute shit so I pulled out my old Wii hoping to softmod it to do this task.
