Looking for meta for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze EUR, uwizard doesn't extract it from wud.
I don't get this program. Is this a GUI? Or a program you execute by cmd? I can't get it to start. Sorry, I really try to understand this but it seems I'm lacking the basics here.
This is why I prefer the idea of sharing. Because I'm not that deep into it as if I would understand anything at the moment. I tried the NUSGrabber and download game updates, but it seems just to download decrypted files. Confusing. With the meta files, at least I know what to do with them.

sharing the xml is fine, it's only some values.
Sharing the electronic manual is not allowed.
Sharing the icon and BG pictures from the meta is disputable, though you didn't create the icon yourself so it shouldn't be allowed.
You should recommend and prioritize tools like NUSgrabber+Cdecrypt, or JNUSTool, to get the missing files yourself, don't share what can be found by other means just because you think it's easier.
Remember that the wiki compatibility list has links to XML.

There's a lot of chance that xml are working for other region. just edit the TitleID to replace P to E (it's usually these letters, but it can be different).
There's also a LOT of chance that one game share the same XML values than another game. if your game doesn't have XML, try any other existing XML. just replace the titleID (even if not used yet).

You need it only for icons? You can take eu or us Meta delete all Insider the Meta Folder but not thebootTvTex.tga,bootDrcTex.tga and iconTex.tga .
So you have your Backgrounds and icons. For one game you havent Meta files take this 3 files from any Meta folder and edit this with gimp or photoshop.
open one from this File Put in your picture delete the First line overite the tga. Now you have made your own icons.
I did this for super mario 3d World and works perfect.

I will do that for the games that im not able to find the meta files.
I have most of the meta content in my games since they were extracted from wud's but latter games that were stremlined to Loadiine lack these files.
I apreciate having the original icons and backgrounds, manual and the rest of the files that can be somehow usefull in the future, you know, the full disc.
Games were allready running on 4.0, now its just for the perfection!

No, i wanted mainly the XML files from code folder (app and cos).
But i tested downloading the EU folders from JNusTool, used the EU title_id and worked perfectly, including covers and all.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons. -

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.+1

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
