How can I edit my saves on pokemon y to add pokemon from my sd card to add pokemon on emunand?
I was installing a cia and my system crashed claiming my sd was removed, now all my icons, of both legit and cia games are gone. They are still installed when looking in the system menu though.....is there a fix for this?
No, I'm pretty sure they're different. But feel free to try.
If you have cfw you can already play out of region games. You just need to find the right tools.

I have a N3ds sysnand 10.3 and i would like to access my pokebank (currently needs sysnand 10.5).
I saw that menuhax is now possible with sysnand 10.3 but i didn't know if it works with N3ds too.
Is it possible to access emunand 10.5 with my N3ds 10.3 or have i to wait the next GW update ?
(Using something like RX tools)
Also, since GW team has released a GW boot homebrew, can it launh emunand right now in 10.3 sysnand running HB launcher ?
(Of course i don't want to update my console since i'm waiting GW update. I just would like to access my pokebank)

I got my son a New 3DS Japanese version. It was a low enough firmware to allow a Gateway card to work and I have ROMs on that as well as .cia files installed. I'm wondering, what is my best option to switch the console from a Japanese language to an English language? Any help greatly appreciated.

So, I finally took the plunge, downgraded 10.3 to 9.2, installed emunand, unlinked them and now I have my very own hacked 3ds, whee.
So, a couple noobish questions:
1. When I boot into CTRBootManager sometimes it hangs on the yellow screen and I have to restart, I assume this is normal with the current version of the hack?
2. I switched the trigger for the boot manager from holding L to NOT holding L, now I have to press L every time I enter rxTools and afterwards after selecting boot into emuNAND. I read that this can be fixed by switching the theme in emuNAND, but it doesn't do anything. What I want is to NOT press L to boot into the boot manager after turning the 3DS on, but I'd also like to NOT hold L when entering rxTools -> emuNAND. Is this possible?
3. I assumed at first that you install cias in sysNAND and emuNAND serves as your legit OS with eShop and so on, but this does not seem to be the case, as I do everything in emuNAND, and sysNAND seems to be there just for the sake of running the hax on boot-up... or is there something that sysNAND does better in comparison with emuNAND?
4. Also, is there something I have to do to not let Ninny know that I'm messing with my console, or is it safe to just put everything in emuNAND? Also, can I update games that I installed manually through the official update process?
5. Continuing previous question - is there something I need to do to futureproof my CFW against Ninny? Is it safe to update emuNAND whenever a new firmware comes out? (ATM I'm on 10.5 and everything works perfect, eshop included).
6. The first game I installed was japanese Kunio Kun (River City Ransom remake) that I converted from .nds by myself and it works fine, then I tried Tekken USA (my console's region is EUR) and it did not work. Am I correct in assuming that some games still have some kind of region locking and I have to either get my own region's version or a patched cia?
7. And final question: I installed HB Launcher in emuNAND, but it keeps booting into CTRBootManager. I cannot find any file like "hblauncherloader_otherapp_payload_OLD-10-3-0-28-EUR" on the SD card. Any ideas?

You've misinterpreted how gateway works.
It is possible to access 10.5 emunand from 10.3, but what they really mean is that you need to downgrade to 9.2 before you start figuring out a way to access emunand.
Homebrew is just another entry point for Gateway, so you can't access emunand or Gateway because you're on 10.3

GW has announced 10.3 compatibility without the need tu downgrade in a future GW update.
I saw that Menuhax is now available to 10.3 without the need to downgrade too.
My question would better be : Do i have a way to access emunand (rxtool or GW emunand) (which is currently not created yet on my 10.3 N3DS) without the need to downgrade or have I to wait the next GW update.
Homebrew Launcher might be an entry point, and is avaiable.
It also might be possible that the next GW update would mention HB launcher running on 10.3 as main entry point for 10.3 3DS.
No, you're still misinterpreting it.
Gateway did announce 10.3 compatibility yes, but they STILL require you to downgrade to 9.2. They're currently developing a safer way to downgrade from 10.3.
Currently for you, there's no way to access emunand unless you downgrade to 9.2. You can install menuhax or any kind of hax, but they're all homebrew and does not give you access to emunand in any way.
Is there anyway I can fix DS mode in my 3dsXL emunand ? Every ds game i try to run in there goes into the "an error as ocurred message', I used the same rxtools build in my regular size downgraded 3ds and DS mode works in this one...The difference between those is the size and the way I got to 9.2.0-20E...I downgraded the regular 3ds with a full update pack, and updated the 3ds XL from 4.3 with a modified without Twl-Mset-Agb pack...Do you think if I updated those in sysand it will fix ds mode in Emunand ?

Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable

I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
