Is there any way to edit the love/friendship levels between mii's in tomodachi life? I have a couple of miis that I want to get together but they aren't interested. Anyone know where the L/F levels are stored in the code? I don't think this has been found yet but it is worth asking.

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Thanks to: http://www.gamefaqs.com/3ds/643013-...here-any-ways-to-influence-love-relationships

I found out that you not only need to match the European zodiac signs but also the Chinese zodiac years. My miis are now at 99%!

If I can find this out I have a hunch that if you save the game with two miis with new L/F levels it might keep it, this way I don't have to launch HANS every time to play it. I hope they are stored in the save files for the game.

This is something I want to know too. Two of my Miis broke up and one of them refuses to forgive the other, and I really want to get them back together. I've been giving them all goodies multiple times a day to no avail.

I did make a thread with some save editing stuff but it's all just raw quantities... I have no idea about relationships :(

Im going to extract my save file and see what I can do. I just hope that it isn't stored in the systems files because that is a pain

It's not. Everything is in the save file.

But the problem is that there are so many little variables that change every time you load up the game. What I did to get the hex offesets was to compare values I knew for sure. Like if I started with 11 of an item, I would use one and save again, then search the differences to find what went from 11 to 10 (0x0B to 0x0A).

But literally if you just load your save and hit save without doing anything, there's like 100 values that change. It was easy enough to test it when I knew the quantities, but the relationship stuff isn't a raw number you can look at.

So I mean, technically I guess I could edit the save 100 times, changing the values one by one (from old save to new save) until the thing changes, but considering the process is turn on 3DS -> load emuNAND -> put cartridge in -> load SaveDataFiler -> restore save -> load game and check -> turn off 3DS and put SD back in computer, it's a massive pain and I don't have that kind of time.

That does seem extremely complicated. I also thought about how everything changes each time you boot as the apartment windows changed when I reset 10 + times

Btw is the save file supposed to b a .txt document

Yes, but it's not actually text. Don't try to use Notepad, you'll break it.

I have no idea why it's .txt but just open it in a hex editor to mess with it.

I see what you mean now. I was trying to find some patterns but it is proving difficult. I dont think they would write out love or anything like that in plain English. It doesnt even seem like they have numbers for values. I think that I have a plan though, I have a couple of miis with 94% love rating so maybe I can find similar values between them. This could be the key (No meme intended ;) )

Interesting. I may have found a pattern (I cant tell) I have two friends with weird names so I had to make different spelling pronunciations to make them sound right. It seems the character Æ is placed in front of the pronunciation as like this example: Æ.G.a.n.o.n.

Edit: Note this is only for the first pronunciation. It seems that the same pronunciation is written below the original by a few rows

Another update, this means almost nothing atm but every islander seems to share a set of code that goes like this :

’Ts––²Æk@ØÕòL¡..’Ts––²Æk@ØÕòL¡..

This may be the location of some type of info because right afterwards they all share this:

ïÈRÕÍáÀK•¹

Then after that they have different jumbled text, here is an example of a few:

ïÈRÕÍáÀK•¹OMÌûexœ.0N@
ïÈRÕÍáÀK•¹R.Ìûexœ.@J`0
ïÈRÕÍáÀK•¹´VÌûexœ.;JN

If only we could find what that means.

Edit: It seems to be the exact same values for the old save file
