Homebrew [Release] FBI - Open source CIA installer
Helo, i'm using the latest FBI, yesterday i tried to launch from HBL for the first time. And it stay at loading file list almost 20 minutes, so i force shutdown my 3ds. What is the normal time for first launch FBI?
I'm following tutorial how to install cfw without cn, oot, and gw.

I'm getting error: Install failed! Could not initialize AM service when trying to install cia. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? N3ds 9.2
Fbi via ninjhax. 128gb sd card if that matters
I also tried launching devmenu via gateway but that kicks me back to home menu
Edit - Tried a different version of fbi, now I'm getting could not open file error. Also tried a different sd card (32gb) and I still get either the could not open file error or the am service error. Tried ninjhax and ninjhax2. I'm out of ideas. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated
Edit 2 - Finally got it working via fbi on gateway card. Good thing I didn't sell my gateway yet lol

I just started to mod my N3DS 9.0 US and for some reason 1.4.16 had a hang up when I loaded it saying loading file list and never doing anything. When I put 1.4.15 on my microsd it loaded right away.
Seems like it isn't just you... I've seen several reports on this lately. Knowing @Steveice10 he's already aware and working on a solution

Huh... Well I've seen issues with CIA, H&S injected and ninjhax versions... maybe it has to do with the database files? I know you just added the option to Initialize them if they aren't found, maybe something odd is happening with that? Also I'm wondering what system version these people are using, most that I've seen are using 9.0-9.2, maybe that's the issue? Idk... I looked through the differences in code between 1.4.15 and 1.4.16 and don't really see anything that could break it... maybe it's something in Cirtus, at a guess I think that's where you added the database code as I didn't see anything to do with that in FBI itself.

Database files are initialized before anything appears on screen, and I've tested on 9.2 with menuhax and 10.3 with 3DS/CIA.
Hmm, this issue isn't isolated to n3ds but you're testing on o3ds right? Wonder if it's got something to do with that, the majority of the reports I've seen are on n3ds

So I had some installed CIA's and I wasn't thinking and I went into the eShop on my emunand and boom, all my installed games are gone. I was like, okay, I can just reinstall them and all is good. (I don't use my unlinked emunand much at all so I don't care that I lost my saved data).
Well, when I use FBI (the H&S injected one) to try to install the few games I had, it will install them, then as soon as it gets to 100% it gives me the "Title not found" (or whatever it is) error. If I go into data management it says the titles are installed but they don't appear on the home menu. How can I fix this? I've deleted the files straight from the SD, restarted my 3DS a couple times, nothing seems to work. I do have a backup of the emunand but not of the SD card so that won't help me much.

I'm trying to modify FBI to change the R button function(mine doesn't work atm), I've got the code changed, but citrus isn't compiling right so that I can compile FBI. Kept throwing out an error for libkhax that no file exists. I tried copying the libkhax files from the master and adding them into the source folder. After I add them it shows a bunch of errors for the libctru's gpu.h and gpu.cpp files. Anyone have any pointers?
Steve has switched over to the great-refactor branch of libctru.
I've tried using both master and the great-refactor branches neither build citrus.

You'll need to make some changes to libkhax, as it is based on the master branch.
Ah I thought I might have to, what should I be looking for? By the way the zip for citrus master is missing all the libkhax files, is it supposed to be since it's from another repository?
