new LL cakes emu 9.5
I haven't tried with Cakes, can't upload a video of N3DS cause it's not mine, later I'll update one from my 2DS. But anyway, try downloading and installing again these files from 3DNUS(Just in case):
eShop: 0004001000021900 v19465
N3DS NFC Sys: 0004013020004002 v6145
N3DS NVer: 000400DB20016302 v448
If you have a linked EmuNAND, it's probably that you need to install them on your SysNAND too
Or you can try this: Made a backup of your SysNAND with GW Menu, then format your SysNAND with SD out, after set up again your N3DS, go to your EmuNAND, and try to access again to eShop, if that works, install again your old SysNAND with GW Menu and install there eShop, NVer and N3DS NFC System-Module, or just leave your NAND's unlinked.

EDIT: Please try with rxTools too

Hmmn... on N3DS EmuNAND 9.0 I've been able to access eShop :/ and, checked again, I can't go in on SysNAND :P only in GW/rx Mode, let me see if N3DS owner can send me a video to show it

You can always install again the eShop that you have before.

I have tried this with no success accessing the Eshop. It goes to the 3DS splash screen and stays there. I tried installing it piece by piece.

When I installed the NVer, I found Miiverse worked, Eshop was asking for an update.
Installed tiger, same thing
Installed NFC, and it went into the splash screen bootloop... no way out of it but to hard shutdown

Any suggestions?

For anyone who reads this installing this title and using HANS let me get onto the eShop on a New 3DS XL on 9.0.0-20U from Sysnand.

Thanks for that, I really wanted to get it running on my EmuNAND however, and I managed to do so (More info below)

It'd be nice if there were a retard proof way to do this shit complete with a step by step tutorial, or at least a video, instead of " I tried this and this and this and it worked for me" "But not for me!"

So this is what I did to get it working @Drak0rex

- I restored to a previous version of my EmuNAND, before installing any updates
- Installed NVer (000400DB20016302 v448) and Tiger (0004001000021900 v19465)
- Rebooted my system and went back into my GW9.5 EmuNAND
- I then installed FMP (it claimed it was already installed because I had installed it in the past, I'm not sure why it was still installed after restoring my EmuNAND, but after attempting the reinstall, the icon popped up on my screen) *** (I forgot to do this in my previous attempts in getting this to work)***
- I started FMP and hit start to run it with it's default settings.
- I opened the Eshop, let it log in, and downloaded a demo for a game to test

In this attempt what I did that worked for me was NOT install the NFC update, and made sure to run FMP

It was a while back, but if i'm not mistaken, when I installed my EmuNAND initially, I unlinked it right away from my SysNAND, and then only used my NNID on my EmuNAND

Thanks for all the help in getting this going guys

I think it's because there's different methods for if you have GW or if you have a CFW and people are getting confused.

As for what I did (GW Card US 9.5 Emunand)

1) made a full emunand backup
2) Updated Nver (000400DB20016302)
3) Updated Tiger [eshop] (0004001000021900)
4) Updated Mint [eshop applet] (000400300000CE02)
5) Updated Cver (000400DB00017302)
6) Ran FreeMultiPatcher
7) Launched Eshop

I haven't done the NFC Update

There is, look for my posts. I have repeatedly told people in several threads EXACTLY what to do but other people come in and say "lets ignore Aroth and find what we need to do on our own and test a million different cia combinations.

If you have a O3DS, update your emunand to 10.3.0-28. It is supported by all CFWs including GW.

For a N3DS, install the latest NVer (Title depends on your system. For the US its 000400DB20016302 v448).

After that you can now get past the NNID sign in for ANY game or service that attempts it.

To actually access content and download games from the eshop the best way (100% success across all CFW configurations) is to just use HANS.

That is it. Install the latest NVer and use HANS to access the eshop. If you do these two things you will not get any errors unless you try to download a game or update that was released after 9.6 and thus uses the new encryption SEED. Those you will have to find on a site like that iso one and will likely need to be cryptofixed (Games that also saw a physical release just need to be converted from rom to cia with a fw spoof option, idk if updates just need a fw spoof or an actual cryptofix).

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

People are getting confused because people like you keep posting "what I did" instead of trying the originally established method and saying "yes that worked for me" or "no it didn't"

Seriously guys, it's not that hard :
In both cases you need to install the latest nver.
Then if you have a Gateway :
- Install the latest tiger and use fmp like you always did
If you don't have one :
- Use hans. Don't install the latest tiger, it won't boot on a cfw.
And even if you have a Gateway, don't install the latest tiger on your sysnand, just use hans too. (+ the latest NVer)

Or you know...the reason people are ignoring you is because the point of this is TO NOT USE HANS.....you know....like the OP talks about.....I don't care if HANS is one established method, this one works far better for GW users and should be noted as such

As for why people arn't just trying the OPs method, that's because the OP was formatted really crappy and thus people are getting confused.

It actually doesn't. I have yet to be able to get any method involving the new tiger to work with Gateway. While the eShop opens and I can start a download, every single one errors out at 99%. I tried with just NVer and Tiger (both of which are required if you refuse to use HANS) as well as adding CVer and Mint, both separately and as a combined package with all four titles being updated. No matter what I do if I do not use HANS I get an error at 99% and am unable to complete any download.

The point is that there needs to be a visible post that informs users that the only 100% guaranteed way to access the eShop on a N3DS is to install the latest NVer and use HANS. Said post is more than welcome (and I think should) mention that users with Gateway can try installing the latest version of tiger and go back to use just FMP to access the eshop, but note that it does not have a 100% success rate for every user.

edit: I do think a large part of the confusion stems from the fact that a large number of people just test to see if the eshop opens without an error and then loudly proclaim that "It works for me", despite the fact that the 007-2404 error only occurs when you try to access a content page or download. There also seems to be a decent number of people who I suspect are trying to download 9.6+ games or updates and are running into the encryption error as a result. It is certainly possible that I simply ran into bad luck and every download I attempted was a 9.6+ title with the new encryption, especially since I was focusing on "free" titles and demos since I already had all my games and updates downloaded when this happened.

That's strange, I used it, (along with FMP ofc) and it worked perfect. While I get what you're saying I feel like you were kinda condescending with your "just follow my instructions" post. Also did you only try updates or did you try downloading something like a demo to see if it works (something might simply be up with the cia files your using for example)

edit: I might make a new post referencing the OP (but with a poll) and see if we can't sort out who has what updated (and working) and who doesn't have it working.

I tried a few demos as well as a few "free to start" games. I did not do any updates as I had all of my games fully updated at the time and when the error first started you could still manage to update games from the homemenu without opening the eshop. (Might still be able to, idk if the NNID/NVer check broke that or not).

Just to be thorough, I will try uninstalling a few game updates and trying to download them directly through an updated tiger with GW later tonight once I am done messing with this vita hb thing I am working on atm.

Interesting, I only tried updates for games and those worked so I assumed the rest of the shop did as well.
