Hacking [OLD] Loadiine backup loader for WiiU 5.3.2 ONLY (NO 5.4 NO 5.5!)

I have looked a lot of videos and everything I'm reading shows me doing it right. I have gotten the exploit to work. It crashes and says that it installed correctly. However every time I try to load the loadiine directory to run that application it just stops at a black screen that says http://[server ip]/www/loadiine/loadiine.elf. From the videos I have seen it should just crash the screen and go back to the main menu. I would greatly appreciate anyone giving me any feedback on how to get it to work successfully. I'm not find results while searching and looking the form with this issue yet. Thanks.

When I run loadiine v3 it doesn't give me the x to boot option without ssm. I press a and it boots me back to main screen, what do I do from there?

I too would be interested in finding a copy of v3. I'm trying to run v4 and keep getting a black screen with white text that just mentions the loadiine.elf file but it isn't loading it into memory for even though the initial kernel hack works. I connected the Wii u to my local network but didn't allow it to connect the internet by giving it a false default gateway and DNS. I don't really trust the Wii U out the internet even if I blocked DNS enteries or told it not to update automatically. I'm just paranoid like that and have been trying to set up a local server for me to run the exploits on. The kernel exploit seems fine but the loadiine piece seems to be stuck on black screen instead of going back to the main menu.

Access the html file directly.... Not the directory. Also, v3 is on my site. There is a link to download the site package on the bottom of the page.

So, I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, but for Yoshi's wolly world, there's a bunch of files in the data folder with filenames that are longer than FAT32 can support after they're dropped behind the "wiiu/games/YoshiWW/" folder structure. I even tried going down to "wiiu/games/Y" but it's still too long. Anyone have a fix for that? One of the files is "MAP031_HOTDOG_MASTER_000.txt" in the "content\data\color_correction_param\" folder, for example.

I love how ppl still refer to this game by an error in the rls grp's nfo...

I tried to run directly on my Wiiu the payload532 for both of the files and still get the message about the loadiine.elf file on the black screen when I try to load the loadiine file. The exploit for the kernel seems to work but I just can't seem to get the loadiine file to load for some strange reason. Are there any known issues with hosting it on IIS? I might just have to open this up the internet but I didn't want to take any risks of giving Nintendo a way to update my Wiiu. Thanks for any tips you might have.

Not sure about IIS. Try adding elf files as an application-octet-stream. I dont think this should be needed though.

It works perfectly fine from my site. I just tested it. I dont know what you're running. Loadiine should black screen or bring up a menu then mii maker

Pressing A launches in SSB mode. You start super smash brothers game disk after that. Mii Maker mode should autostart.

just had something starting happening. when I select any game w/ A or X I get a "Can't start game" message, it doesnt hang there but if you try pressing Y it stack dumps

We had some similar ideas with the grid view with Maschell and Lustar but we though the grid should go to the gamepad in a menu similar to system menu. For TV we though a nice coverflow would be good.

I like your idea about the bootTvTex.tga and bootDrcTex.tga. Its definatelly something nice to have in the background when a game is selected and a preview is shown before launching it :). I probably will do that in some way.

Regarding the http access:
Yes we do have http access. Its also how the ELF is loaded. We even got https access since we use libcurl (RPL). I will implement autodownload of the game information (XML on gametdb) and game covers (also on game TDB). This of course will only be possible if the game ID is known. The game ID is information saved in the meta.xml. So if that one is available the covers can be auto downloaded. Alternatively I can offer getting the game ID from the folder name (e.g. "Some Game Name [GAMEID]").
I second the majority of these ideas.

TV primary: coverflow for each Game ID found on SD.
Game Pad primary: For the cover in focus on the TV, use bootDrcTex.tga as a background for the Game Pad with the iconTex.tga and game info from gametdb.

TV secondary: grid of the iconTex.tga for each Game ID found on SD.
Game Pad secondary: For the selected cover on TV, use bootDrcTex.tga as a background for the Game Pad with the cover and game info from gametdb.

I'll make mockups of the above when I get a chance (after doing an overhaul on the Definitive Guide).

I don't have ssb disc I heard v3 can run without ssb disc but when I select my game in loadiine v3 I'm back to homescreen
