Hello.

I'm trying to translate this game into spanish little by little in my free times, but I don't know how to do something: I've extracted the .Gim files and transformed them into .Png

I can edit them without any problem, but what I don't know how to do is to "repack" them again, make the IDXXXXX file complete again.

Can somebody help me please? Thank you.

Good day everyone.
I made a Cheat Engine cheat table for Digimon Adventure PSP for use with PPSSPP.
Just need to name a few extra codes and I'll be sure to post it here.

Note* I used the 64-bit version of PPSSPP to make it, so... If you have the 32-bit one, it may not work.

Highly recommended:
Latest Static Address-supported build: v1.0.1 r757
You can download it from here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index.php?m=fulllist
Press Ctrl+F and type v1.0.1-757 in the search box.

Note* This cheat table has been made by MegaChaos91 on YouTube.
(Self-promotion, but who cares?)

Edit:
Here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/download/7i0i2tfyo7wc7ws

Edit2:
Here's a pic showing the Digimon Mod in action:

Except no available password to extract the patch file, so unusable. Pretty silly.
that's because you have to run the exe file to patch it.

EDIT: I replied to this so that maybe people will STOP complaining about needing a password. I know, it's not a good system, but that's the way it is.

I'm also wondering what kind of issue they were talking about. Aside from some weird text popping bug that I have to assume is an issue with ppsspp, since nobody has mentioned it, and I lost my psp when I moved last year and can't test it out on a legit system. I do hear that the code patch I made for fixing the text centering works perfectly on the psp, so that's nice.

As a side note, if anyone wants to translate this game from Japanese to another language, German, French, Italian, Punjabi, etc, and needs help with the files in the game, please message me. I've done way more investigation into the files in this game than is probably healthy, and can probably help.

No. You'll need to make an ISO of the game and patch that.

Hey Coraje, long time no talk :)

Is there only one translator? :/

Yeah I'm back, good to see you. :)

Yeah as of right now there was Kazari. I thought Xhai and his brother was helping but I guess they got busy with life stuff. I don't want her work on the project to be for nothing as she got far. She said she decided to leave but I'm trying to get her back or at least to get her help to finish it, if shes still willing. I think she just got over whelmed. I've been in and out of hospitals as of late. Doing better now just didn't know she was on her own. She did say she still wants to finish on her blog.

Well I talked to her and told her she can do whatever is needed to finish the project with or without the team and she said "Rest assured, the game will be finished, eventually."

So at least it will be done. We will support her in anyway needed. :)

I think Kazari is in need of a few translators and programmers.

Kazari here. I think I caused quite a few people a huge scare about this issue, so here's the clarification: I left the group, but I didn't leave the project. I have every intention to see this translation seen to the end when I've already poured two years and half a game into it. So in that regard, it's going to be done somewhere.

The main problem with the situation was that our primary hackers have gotten busy and the setup for what materials we currently had wasn't working in the slightest, which effectively left me (a translator with no hacking experience) as the sole person in the working group. Obviously that's not going to get anywhere, so I left the group with the intention of finding anyone good at hacking who could pick the project up. (Coraje was in the hospital, so he wasn't able to respond to my messages for quite a long time, which was why I took action before talking this out with him; I'm really grateful to Coraje and the other staff at NGG that's been very kind to me about my departure, since I admit to being very sudden about it.)
Right now I've gotten picked up by a group that's translating the game into Italian as well. They've already got a setup for hacking the game ready, so nothing has to be done from scratch; instead right now I'm converting my translated materials to work with their workflow, so the project can proceed from there.
Thank you to everyone who's been so patient about the inconvenience.

Anyway, the final pressing issue right now is that I do need another translator. Right now I'm one-manning the translation and that's just not feasible for me anymore with school getting in my way. So at least one translator would be very helpful, at least to divide the work with me, look over my text to make sure it doesn't look awkward, and help with the massive amount of TLC that needs to be done on the currently-translated text (I started this project when I was very inexperienced in translating and frankly pretty bad at Japanese, so there are actual mistranslations in the current older patches).
If anyone's willing to help, please hit me up. I'd really appreciate it. The stipulations (as placed on the website) are the following:
  • Must be accessible via Skype or some other chat client
  • Must be able to use Dropbox or some other quick collaborative file sharing service
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have a certain degree of competency in the Japanese language (a quick test will be used)

I hope you guys really could finish this project, it's an amazing job, what you and the decode team is doing.
Sadly I know the problems that you guys get in the process, lack of motivation and etc...

I have a good friend that loves digimon and know some japanese, he already translate some mangas in his free time, I will try to speak with him.

Just got hyped after starting to re-watch the Digimon Adventure Series and since Re:Digitize was finished, I thought this would been too, too sad it isn't,
I would suggest for you, Kazuri, to contact with them but yeah.. they're probably busy right now, they're translating Digimon World: Lost Evolution after all.
Anyways, keep up with the good work, greetings from Uruguay :)
