What i mean by the question is if i put a game on the Sky3ds for example, Pokemon X will i be able to use the online features? Like trade, battle, etc.

You can go online. But if you use their default template you're at high risk of a ban. You'll need your own private header to be as safe as possible. You can get the header either by ripping it from your own game using a Powersave or a 3DS with a firmware of 9.2 or below. If you don't have either of those, then you can send me (or anyone else willing) a message and I'd be willing to help you out by ripping one for you.

Banning is just what the term implies...that Nintendo will ban you from using online functions on your 3DS. I'm not quire sure what a powersave is, but I ripped my own headers using the backup feature of the Gateway card. Unfortunately for you, Gateway currently does not work on the 9.8 firmware. As mentioned above, some members may be nice enough to rip the header for you if you send them the game.

Now the way around getting banned (so far) is by having a private header, which is basically a string of numbers that are in every game cart. If you take that string of numbers from one cart, you can put it into all of your roms and be safe (well, nobody has been banned for having a private header yet). In your case you can only rip it yourself if you use a powersave tool by Action Replay OR by buying the header from somebody who is willing to buy a game, rip the header (using either a Gateway or a Powersave), give the header to you, and destroy the game. And there are people on this forum, like me, willing to do that for you for the cost of the game.
But once you get the private header, you're good to go online.

You can't screw up the physical cart. Whomever is ripping the header will use a Gateway card to make digital "copy" of the game in .3ds format. The private header can then be extracted from the .3ds file, and is in the form of a .bin file. You can then use the SKY software to add the .3ds file to your sd card, but change the public header that SKY uses in their template to what matches the info in the private .bin file.
Another stupid question xD What do you mean by "You can't screw up the physical cart. " and what is a physical cart? And if i'm right this is how it goes.
1. Guy uses Gateway or some other shit to make a .3DS ROM file of the game.
2. From that ROM file you can take the "Private Header" file which is a .bin file type.
3. You then use the Sky3DS to put the ROM onto the flashcard to play the game.
4. Before playing, etc. You go into the Template folder and replace their "Public Header" with the "Private Header" you just extracted from the ROM file.
If this isn't correct could you please correct me? Because i am assuming the .3ds file is a ROM.
The physical cart is just that...the cartridge that comes in the retail packaging.
You pretty much have it down. If you send the cart to somebody else, they should send you the .3ds rom file and the .bin file which is your private header ripped from the game. The SKY3DS website has the software you need to install the .3ds file onto your sd card. That software uses a template file (also downloaded from SKY's website) to write public headers for the game. If you do a search for "No Ban No Sky" on gbatemp, you will find software that will replace the public headers in Sky's template with the private header sent to you (the .bin file).

Sorry but 2 last question xD. Can i manually get the Private header without sending my game too anyone? Because i don't really feel like being scammed, etc. Is their anyway i can do it my self for free? Or is there no way?
No problem! Being that you are on 9.8 firmware, unfortunately I don't think so. Powersaves were mentioned (which I don't have experience with)...so I'm not sure if it can be used on 9.8 or not. The only way I know of ripping a header is with a Gateway card, and you need to be on 9.2 or below to use one. If you're really worried about it, buy a cheap $5 game off of Ebay (it doesn't matter which), and send that to somebody for a header. You can put a private header from a different game onto your Pokemon .3ds rom. I've used my Mario Kart 7 private header on all of my Sky3ds roms.
So with the private header i get from my game, i am meant to use that on every game i download for my sky3ds?

some time ago I bought this for 1 €... someone knows if I can use it to extract the private header from 3ds games?
